My husband and I stayed at the Melia Granada for 2 nights in December 2005. I read a lot of reviews and it was exactly what we expected. It is very centrally located. Everything is walking distance (Alhambra is a 15-20 minute walk (it's a great walk through beautiful alleyways) for the averagely fit person). The rooms are a little... More

Melia Hotel Granada. Stayed here 2 nights January 2006, so that we could visit the Alhambra. Centrally located. Big room. Big Bathroom. Room clean. Bed and linen clean. Room quiet at night (even when we opened the window because it was a little stuffy.). Lots of choice at breakfast buffet (although not all of the prepared foods looked particularly appealing).... We stayed at the Melia based on Tripadvisor reviews and were quite happy with our choice. We found our room to be comfortable, with good lighting and a great bed. Our room faced the street and it was quiet. We had been traveling for some time before arriving, and appreciated having our car valet parked and our suitcases taken to... More

We stayed at the Melia Granada for 3 days in November. You could see the snow on the Sierra Nevada Mountains from the town which was nice. The hotel is in a good central location and is a good 4 star hotel. Breakfast was more in keeping with a 3 stars, nothing special but adequate. Our only complaint was with... More

Coach from aiport to central Granada great and costs 3 euro's each unlike taxi which costs approx 20 euro's. Takes 20 mins. Arrived at Melia Hotel, Granada. Room was a good size and very clean. Bathroom was a little dissappointing and appeared as though it needed updating. Although the usuall toiletries were available. Our view was of a brick wall... More

Stayed one night having booked through Lastminute. We'd been touring around Andalucia. From the minute we arrived, early evening, to when we left, the following evening, the hotel could not have been more helpful. The worst bit was finding our way by car to the hotel but that's probably just me! When we left it seemed very straight forward. They... More

My daughter and I stayed two days on October at Melia Granada and I highly recommend it. The location is great, close to everything. There are plenty of nice shops and restaurants (there´s an excellent pizzeria in the corner) and it´s few blocks from lovely El Realejo quarter. The staff is very efficient and friendliness. They booked for us a... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Granada and it was the perfect gateway to the sights and restaurants of Granada. Getting there was easy-we did not want the hassle of a hired car so we took the bus(dead cheap)outside Malaga airport to the bus station and a bus (luxury coach) to Granada and taxi straight to the hotel. The... More

My family (husband, boy & girl twins, aged 15) arrived at the Melia Granada somewhat tired from an early train from Seville. As soon as our taxis pulled up at the front of the Melia, we knew we could relax...everything was taken care of courteously and promptly, including luggage, the check-in to our two rooms, a quick light snack to... Just came back from a short stay at this fab hotel. It wouldn't be in a better location, walking distance from most places of interest, including the Alhambra, if you can cope with the steep hill!. Also, the Melia is behind the popular Calle Navas with plenty of tapas bars to choose from, but don't let this put you off,... More
