The hotel is located on the main square towards Alhambra. Our room was situated on the first floor overlooking the square so we had a lovely view of the castle. If you dont like too much noise you may be better with a room towards the back of the hotel. I bought earplugs from the chemist next door and they worked a treat! I struggle to understand why it's only a two star hotel, it wasnt so bad! The staff were curtious, we didn't experience any problems at all. I would say the breakfast was a little bland and repetitive but hey, maybe that's the 2 star bit! We had a lovely break.

Fantastic location and excellent value for money. We stayed here for four nights and had a great time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and the breakfast was great. Would definitely return.

The location of this hotel is simply brilliant - close to Alhambra, shopping & lots of restaurants. It is actually a no frills hotel, but the service was wonderful. We were greeted by Mario at the reception upon arrival, he gave us great advice how to get to all the wonderful sights in Granada and how to get to each one of them. The check-in was a breeze. Rooms are basic & small, but clean & adequate. Would definitely stay here again for their location & service.

Upon entering the lobby we were hit with a strong nicotine smell and I hoped that it was confined to that space. The nice young woman at the desk said that we were being upgraded to a room overlooking the plaza, but when we got to the room the smell was stronger and I found many stains on the carpet including a large dark one next to the bed. We requested and got a different room, which also had the same nicotine smell but not quite as strong. Because of the season we had no option of another hotel so we stayed there. The nicotine smell was strongest in the window curtains by my side of the bed. The various desk personnel all told me that the hotel is completely non smoking, but the only no smoking sign I saw was inside the elevator, and there is no indication on the hotel website that it is non smoking. This was the only one of four hotels we stayed in during this trip in Spain that smelled of nicotine. On the positive side the bed was comfortable and the location has the hotel in the center of the old city. And all the hotel personnel we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful.
