This hotel offers some outstanding views but it needs major refurbishing! I'm sure the hotel had its glory days which in my opinion are long gone. The walls are so thin that you can almost hear next door neighbors fart in their sleep! The upsides are: location (5 mins walk to Alhambra Palace-10 mins walk to old town), views and...

Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback. This is the best way to improve our service. Our property was renovated in 2011-2012 (electricity, air conditioning, bathrooms, carpets, beds, and internal areas). We continue our renovations permanently, but as the hotel is protected by the Unesco, sometimes permissions and licenses are slow. According the noises, we offer soundproof and double window in...

Great location just walking distance to the centre and go the Alhambra palace, I will definitely recommend it. Staffs are not proactive but always helpful and kind when you ask for help. A little old but the ambience is good. Worth the stay

I have stayed here 3 times now for various trips and each time I am not disappointed. I drive there and it is so easy to find because of course the Alhambra is so well signposted. just remember to follow the road down to the left of the main entrance to the Alhambra and keep going. The rooms are comfortable,...

Once you look past the foyer/ground floor, you realise how overpriced and run-down this place is. We had driven over to Granada from Arcos, which is where our base was, so we didn't take our passports with us. It didn't say we needed these to check-in ANYWHERE on their website, our booking confirmation or anywhere else on the emails we...

Dear Customer, Thanks for taking the time to comment our services and help us to improve, but we sincerely regret the bad impression you had about our hotel. We would like to comment several issues: - Passports. According to Spanish law, in all the national territory, all hotels must require Passport or ID in force to all guests staying at...

This hotel is just as good as the photos we were not disappointed upon our arrival. Excellent staff, from check in, breakfast to departure. We paid for the city view room and so worth the extra. We looked over the city below and up to the snow capped mountains. The bathroom was a great size for 2 and very clean...

A little over 110 years old but retaining the service and attention of the age of the Grand Tour. The Alhambra Palace is a five minute walk to the actual Alhambra and ten to the city. Very much enjoyed the lobby bar area, which was great for lunch, snaks pre diner cocktail or night cap. The style and design is...

We chose this hotel primarily because of its proximity to the Alhambra; only a 10 minutes walk trough a wooded area. The hotel is almost on the top of the hill. From the balcony of the bar you have an amazing view over the city and the Sierra Nevada's snowy peaks. The Moorish inspired decor of the hotel reminded us...

I expected much more from this hotel that was built in 1910 as a luxurious casino. The decor was interesting and being within walking distance of the Alhambra, made it very convenient. However for the town of Grenada down below, it involved a very stiff and steep walk back up to the hotel after dinner! Good exercise, but not what...

I booked this hotel based on its history, architecture and location (being close to the Alhambra and having such great views). The hotel has an old world charm with an Arabian Nights flavour- which is great. However, at the price one pays, today's guests expect certain basic amenities whcih were sadly lacking. The decor is great, the location stunning (great...

Dear guest, Thanks for your kind comment. We appreciate the positive aspects of the hotel that you quote. Regarding the rooms, we refer you that were renovated in 2007 (decoration) and in 2012 (air conditioning, electricity, Flat TV and bathrooms). With reference to the iron, for security reasons, in Spanish city hotels is very rare find it in guest rooms....
