hotel location, ambience, roof top bar with a view, breakfast and rooms were excellent. The only downside was the air conditioning. Various areas of the hotel were warm and air conditioning in room was so bad we opted to open the windows to try and alleviate the heat. We did request assistance from the front desk and a technician was... More

Nice rooms bigger bath.. Room was a little warm but was fixed. Pillows and bed a little hard for me but over all its convenient with the area bustling with activity and a taxi stand as well as a large shopping store across the street. Wander down the back streets for neat stores and good bars where with a drink... More

Again part of a bus tour stop, very good location , we wandered around a bit nearby and thought it was a nice looking city. No view from the hotel to speak of, but the room was serviceable, clean & tidy and breakfast was ok as well. So overall not fantastic but not bad, just one of those ok places... More

I am one not to get hung up about hotel rooms as I am generally out visiting the city and it's attractions. The Carmen is centrally located allowing easy access to restaurants, shopping and to historic landmarks. The room itself was surprisingly spacious. Great bed..probably the best sleep I had in days. Breakfast in the restaurant is best avoided during... More

Room - The room I had in this hotel was great - the view of the Albaicin and of the Alhambra was priceless. It had a balcony over which I watched the sunrise light up the terracotta rooves of the Albaicin, and I watched the sunset against the Alhambra and saw the Alhambra lit up at night. The room was... We spent two wonderful days in Granada at the Hotel Carmen de Santa Ines. We are frequent visitors to Granada and usually stay at the Parador, but this year we were too late to secure a booking 'up on the hill', so went in search of somewhere relaxing and comfortable in the Albaycin, as we had taken my mother (who...
