Cool place in the cool part of the city , the old part called Albacin, big slope to climb up and steps will bring you in this nice hostel with very friendly staff and cool guests. I spent three night in the suite which is super nice ! hammocks in the garden to enjoy , communal area inside is nice... More

A friend and I stayed here. Before booking, I emailed a question about where the wifi was available and staff actually went around the hostel checking connectivity for me. The 7-person dorm is a bit crowded (we'd never seen a 4-level bunk before!) and got a bit hot at night, but fans are provided for upper bunks.

This popular hostel attracts a tremendous mix of travelers. It is a great place to meet new people. The high bunk beds (think 4-5 levels of beds!) are surprisingly ideal for sleeping. It's very easy to get a full night's rest when you are high above it all. Staff was very gracious and kind, particularly the front desk staff. Some... More

I don't know if everyone would love a place like this but i thought it enveloped the essence of Granada. This is a beautiful quiet circular hostel which is also very social. They have a bunch of tables, chairs, hammocks and a little tree house in the centre of the hostel right next to the bar. The decor is hippy... More

Was a nice place. A bit hippy-ish. But a useful kitchen, sufficient space, nice staff and volunteers, and working facilities. For the price and location, I have no complaints. It is not fancy by most measures, but it has enough power plugs, clean facilities, and hangout spaces to cover your basics. There is midnight quiet down time which you need... More

An amazingly relaxed hostel, with great staff, affordable rooms and great vibes. Having dinner available every night is a nice touch for a small hostel, great little Bar with nice cheap drinks too. Cannot recommend enough as I had a truly fantastic time at makuto.

I came to Granada on a whim and on advice that it was a cool place. I was hungry tired and grumpy when I arrived and had a noisy family in my room the first night, I'm far from a hippy and generally dislike positive vibes I don't trust them. I was quite convinced I would leave the next day... More

Everyone is really friendly and helpful, but I disliked the layout of the hostel very much. Very much a place for alternative types, which is cool and I typically like that, but considering it's not any cheaper than the other hostels around, the facilities leave much to be desired. I was on a bottom bunk which was basically me on... More

The hostel is unique, The staffs are warm and helpful. The facilities ( room, toilets, locker and kitchen) are OK. The common room and playing Light Breakfast is also provided The location is in Albaycin area and close to the Mirador Saint Nicolas and The Mosque ( 100m). To find this hostel in Albaycin area is quite challenge. It is... More

I stayed there for 1 night only but really enjoyed my time there. Very friendly and helpful staff. They offer a free walk around the city every day which is a great way to meet new people and to get to see all the nice viewpoints in town. It is quite a unique hostel as most of the amenities are...
