The Hotel lived up to its 4* - It`s location is opposite the beach so it cannot get better. The food was a good standard, cooked well & served hot. If you like a different menu each night you will be disappointed. The food is suited to british and this suited us. The beds and the pillows were 10/10. The weather was freakishly bad and so we did attempt the entertainment evenings. 6 out of 10 sorry!

We booked a 5 day stay here as our previous visit to this was cut short due to restrictions in Spain, It was an all inclusive relaxing few days by the poolside and nearby beach areas. Amador and Mario at reception were very helpful. We were upgraded for free to a suite. Victor the handyman came quickly to fix the safe which was faulty , Bed was extremely comfortable ,food was good quality and varied. We will return.

Top hotel just back from week at riu costa del sol couple of minor issues on first day both fixed quickly from then on great holiday great location on promenade. Spotless rooms pools restaurants and bars fantastic staff in all areas. We both loved the food amenities and relaxed style of hotel. Definitely coming again to join many guests who are frequent visitors

Long weekend celebrating a birthday, weather not great but not hotel’s problem but did provide outstanding service with all additional guests to look after who would ordinarily be on beach or by pool. Food excellent and entertainment was great. All in all a lovely weekend away and would definitely go back.

This was our second visit as it`s quite difficult to judge a hotel on just one visit. We weren`t disappointed in the least. We`re just back from a week at the Riu and everything was as close to perfect as one could get. The staff are friendly, the room was spotless and we loved the walk-in shower ! The food was great, well cooked and hot and there was something to please everyone. What we especially loved was the double bed - NOT two singles pushed together but an actual double that was extremely comfortable. We stayed on the seventh floor like last time but there are two lifts for those who need them. We stayed from May 17th. to the 24th. so there were plenty of sunbeds available and there wasn`t lines of people at the bars or the restaurant. It rained on and off for two days during our stay and there isn`t an awful lot of places to sit inside other than the lobby lounge which got quite crowded but that was a minor consideration and barely worth mentioning. No, it`s a great place to stay, close to everything and only fifteen minutes by coach from the Airport so your holiday begins almost immediatly. We seriously can`t find anything bad to say about the Riu and we`ll certainly be back.…

Stayed at the Rui on 10th May 2023 for a week, hotel was very nice. Everything was great from start to finish, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Checking in was quick & easy. cleaners done a fantastic job as well as the rest of the staff there. No waiting for drinks at the bar & the food was lovely. The only thing I would say is no free ice creams or lollies at the snack bar during the day. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would return to this hotel again.

Excellent hotel great size rooms very comfortable beds and great shower plenty of sunbeds pool could have been bit warmer food was pleasant enough though we didn’t eat every ni in hotel as we like to get out and about to look around the area is quiet quiet and not much to do taxi into marina was ten euros each way staff very helpful and nothing was wrong to much trouble personally I wouldn’t go back to hotel just because of were it is and the journey into marina was €20 per ni which adds up over the week but if you just stay in hotel and don’t venture out to far it’s ideal spot

The biggest flaw here is that during inclement weather, which we experienced, there is very little inside space to sit other than the large reception area which soon gets full. The only other place is the entertainment room where you have to sit in rows facing the stage, not ideal for a day trapped inside by the rain. The hotel was full and unlike our experience last October, we had to queue at mealtimes and once seated it felt very overcrowded, therefore we booked the Spanish restaurant most evenings which hasn’t anywhere near as much choice of menu. The biggest plus in this hotel are the amazing staff, every area is spotlessly clean and the bar and restaurant staff are constantly working efficiently and always with a smile.

Great stay, very clean rooms good size staff work so hard. One negative evening entertainment not the best, in house reps do a good job but would be nice to see outside professional shows & all ends at 10pm with a playlist of background music. Not much else going on after 10pm. Had better from previous Riu hotels.

Lovely hotel, always clean, quick service, lovely rooms especially at the front of the hotel (sea view) service is very quick and staff are friendly. Area is very quiet and quite a walk into the town.
