One of the most stylish hotels we have ever stopped in, with it's great music history (Frank Sinatra stopped here). Well located, we had a junior suite with a hot tub.. WOW, sat in there overlooking the beach and sea. The suites were accessed via a private lounge with free snacks in the day!. The room was huge and so well decorated.
Travelled as part of a family group of 15 to celebrate a special birthday and have recently returned from a 7 night stay and had a fantastic time. This hotel really is excellent and is the best I have stayed in around the Torremolinos area without a doubt. Very swift check in at reception by friendly staff. Stayed in room 1214 and was impressed with all aspects of the room. The beds are so comfortable. Mini bar in room,tea/coffee making facilities as well. Room safe is free to use too unlike other hotels that charge for the privilege. Hairdryer in bathroom and a large walk rainfall shower. Wi-fi signal is extremely good throughout the hotel. Hotel is spotlessly clean and staff work hard to keep it so. Bar service is good and prices are reasonable. Food in restaurant is very good with an abundance of choices for both breakfast and evening meal. Restaurant staff work really hard however they could be a bit more friendly and try and interact with the guests more. I never seen one of them smile the whole 7 days I was there. Location is superb with the paseo and beach just a few steps away. This hotel is a bit more expensive than others in the area but is well worth the little bit extra. You get what you pay for. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely return. If you are looking for a great hotel then give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Thanks to all the hard working staff for a great week and hope to see you all again soon.…
Perfect position on the sea front,we had a sea view room, food was good in the hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, lots of bars and shops nearby, easy walking on the promenade, took a bus trip to Malaga, nice city well worth a visit.
We've just returned from a 7 night break at the Pez Espada and have had the most relaxing break. This is our second visit to the hotel and the first since the room refurbishments and we were very pleasantly surprised at the improvements. We stayed in room 610 which although compact, is perfectly suitable for a couple but it's major highlight is that it is directly looking onto the beach and walkway. We stayed half board and found the choice and quality of the meals excellent. Although some people have complained about the restaurant, as long as you understand that the staff have to keep the tables cleaned and ready for the next diner, then you will be fine. There are plenty of sunbeds on a grassy area and are in great condition and the hotel is located directly opposite the beach. We used the cocktail lounge as well as Sinatra's bar and found the prices pretty good for the drinks (G&T €5.50, Whisky Sour €7.00) especially when you consider it's the premium brands. We'll definitely return as it's in the perfect position for nearly everything.…
Stayed at this hotel in April and had a great time. We were in a junior suite room which was amazing, would highly recommend. Big shout out to Juan and Raquel you were both great. Our Grandson loved joining in with the games and the mini disco. Have already booked for 2023.
We (mom and children 16 & 8yrs) recently spent a few days at Pez Espada and had a fantastic time. The facilities are great with lots of cozy areas to relax or enjoy a drink/snack. They have easy access to a lovely beach and a great kids splash pool and play area. We had breakfast at the hotel which had a good variety of foods and drinks with fresh fruits and eggs / omelettes made fresh for you. The highlight for us was really the kids club Juan really brought my son out of his shell and even played Lego with him! He really made the stay excellent for us, my son didn’t want to leave because of Juan! Thanks to Raquel also for the evening entertainment. We had a fantastic stay, would 100% recommend for small families with children of different ages.
After a four year absence a wonderful return was had by all. Rooms and communal areas have been refurbed to an extremely high standard. Our only gripe was the food was uninspiring and lacked variation, we do hope that the management address this, as this is the only let down of a great place.
I visited Pez Espada on 4th April and had a fantastic stay. Juan and Raquel (the entertainers) are a great addition to the hotel. We enjoyed taking part in their daily games/entertainment that they provided. I will be back again in October and I hope to see them both there.
just returned from a weeks stay, with my wife whom has been to the area before but not this hotel, stayed in room 1314 which was very clean and spacious, as for the mini fridge this was a let down , plenty sunbathing areas when the sun was out , hotel situated on beach front which is again really nice, BIG let down was the food, for a 4 star hotel, at know time did we have a hot meal as most of the food was cold , the only hot meal was to soup , they do have a microwave next to the display of which i had to use a couple of times, the rest of our stay we dined out, restaurant staff not very pleasant and always sad looking, so very disappointed overall , i wouldn't recommend this hotel ,
Our first visit since refurbishment. All staff very efficient & helpful. Room décor fresh and light, Beds comfortable, Restaurant well set out with some dishes freshly cooked in the restaurant. Good variety, good quality food and always something to suit all tastes in very pleasant surroundings. Stunning sea views from bedrooms and restaurant. Good location directly on the sea promenade and beach. No road to cross to the beach. Delightful walks to Benalmadena marina one way and Torremolinos the other. We have stayed several times and hope to do so again.
