This place is a solid 4.8 stars out of 5. And I have to be honest and say the only reason it's not a 5 is nothing to do with how amazing and welcoming the place is. It's actually the location that brings down the score.

The entrance is located on a blind corner, so when your satnavs says you're there, then you're there!! Carefully this Navigate down the drive to find a good sized car park.

Upon arrival you will be firstly greeted by the local cat(s) and secondly by the very friendly owners. All the covid stuff is in place (sanitiser, masks, etc etc).

The courtyard has dedicated sun beds for you, and a nice pool. Downstairs you'll find the heated jacuzzi (so nice!)

The rooms are fantastic! Beautifully decorated and make you feel very at home instantly. Only problem would be the bath water pressure is a bit weak - wait a good 30mins to an hour to fill your bath!

TV, AirCon, coffee machine and a mini fridge make it an easy stay. Plenty of storage and seating.

Our room (Zoco) had a private outside seating area with a citronella candle, light, and cover. Perfect to sit out at night and eat some food.

So, food, this is where .2* is lost. The owners are more than happy for you to bring food in (and the fatty cat is happy at this to). But getting any sort of delivery is really really hard. We found one which wasn't pizza, but they wouldn't give plates/cutlery (perhaps the hotel can provide this?). Due to the location, most delivery firm's do not supply, and you may have to call the restaurant direct to ensure its ok (we waited some time before finding out they cancelled our order due to location).

But hey, go Mercadona, grab some snacks, some jamon and wine. Sit at the pool or at your private seating area. 👍👍👍👍

Breakfast has to be one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had! Well done, seriously well done. I've been to a lot of hotels, and I like good ones. And your breakfast was amazing. I've tried to recreate it at home, but not been quite as good.

All in all, this is a fantastic GEM of a place. If you are even thinking about staying here then you MUST. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Hello :) Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay even with all the Covid restrictions we have to have in place. Our entrance is indeed a tricky one! We have racked our brains on how to improve this, and due to being in a green zone we cant change the structure of our entrance, however are going to try with a sign a few meters before arrival and see if this helps :) Im sorry to hear you had so much trouble ordering food! If you stay again, please let us know and we can call the order through for you and talk to them about our location. During normal times as well we serve a nice lunch menu which can be enjoyed onsite, but due to this years decrease in guests we have not been able to offer this. In regards to breakfast, send me an email with what you ordered and I will be happy to send you the recipe or my techniques in how I put the dish together so you can enjoy it at home as well :) Thank you again for your stay and until the next time.....Happy Travels!!!

We stayed at Jardines De La Reina Boutique Bed & Breakfast for 1 week during our holiday in Marbella and were able to enjoy each other and relax here. Everything is very well maintained, the breakfast is from another planet and prepared with lots of love and the hosts (Kirsten & Diego) are wonderful people who explore the wishes of their guests and respect them and facilitate them if necessary.

Also important to mention is that they take the COVID-19 measures very seriously and attach great importance to hygiene for the safety of their staff and guests, not unimportant in a time like this.

We wish you all the best, hopefully we can meet again in the near future.

18 of us had the most incredible time at Jardines De La Reina Boutique Bed & Breakfast. The owners are the some of the kindest people you could meet. They went out of their way to host our group for a few days. We had exclusive hire of the whole place, and they provided us with fantastic catered evening meals - in addition to the famous Jardines De La Reina breakfast!

The rooms are lovely, each with a personal touch. The location is great - you feel like you are in your own secluded oasis (which is actually just a short taxi ride from the centre of Marbella or Puerto Banus).

We will be recommending this place to everybody we know!

We recently stayed for three nights at Jardines, we made our booking directly with the property owner over the phone.
The owner and the couple who run the b&b are all welcoming and friendly. Very good communication prior to arrival. Extremely helpful should you have any questions.
The rooms, gardens and pool at Jardines are well maintained.
We had the captains cottage. It had everything we needed for our relaxing stay. The lovely bed linen and towels were newly laundered and made the room smell lovely and fresh.
We paid the extra and has breakfast we are glad we did as it was fresh, plentiful and delicious.
The pool area has enough chairs to sit and have your own space.
There is plenty of parking at the property which is relatively short drive or Uber to Marbella and Puerto Banus.
We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had the most glorious stay at Jardines De La Reina! The property is unparalleled in beauty and tranquility. Close to everything that Marbella has to offer, but private and peaceful. The room was immaculate and very comfortable with beautifully unique decor. The owners were so warm and accommodating, not mention extremely knowledgeable about all of southern Spain and gave us so many wonderful tips and suggestions to help make our holiday perfect. We’ve just returned home and are already plotting our trip back! Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed there for 2 nights recently in EL Zoco. Lovely cool room after the heat of the sun with a beautiful traditional corner bath. Perfect!

Our hosts could not done more for us and our friends who stayed with us. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they, a delayed quick honeymoon.

The pool area was beautiful and the precautions from covid ensured that we felt very safe.

We WILL be back!

I had a 3-night stay at Jardines De La Reina which I organised for a hen party and everything was perfect! Myself and the rest of the party was absolutely blown away with how beautiful the villa was! The rooms are gorgeous and the whole villa is absolutely stunning. There was 19 of us in total celebrating my best friend’s hen party and we had the most incredible time. Kirsten was amazing from the beginning answering all my questions which made the organising so much easier she was amazing throughout! We had a tapas dinner the first evening and a BBQ on the second day, both these meals organised were gorgeous and everybody loved them! The breakfast buffet in the mornings was also amazing and so much to choose from. They also catered for a couple of our friends was had gluten-free requirements. They thought of everything and made it the perfect stay! Kirsten & Diego were amazing from start to finish and Florencia was an amazing host at the villa and couldn’t have done anymore for us from organising taxis to taking our photos! I couldn’t thank you anymore for giving us the best holiday and the best memories! None of us wanted to leave! I couldn’t recommend Jardines De La Reina enough!

We feel so fortunate to have found this beautiful boutique hotel for a last minute break over New year. It was just perfect. The location is stunning and the staff could not have been more lovely and helpful. We even had the most wonderful recommendation of a potential property from Kirsten and have decided to go for it!
The gardens and accommodation is superb, tasteful, interesting and so well thought out.
We had the most "basic" room but that was fantastic. Lovely ensuite, only small criticism - it could do with a heater as it was slow to dry out (it was Dec after all)
You do need a car but Puerto Banűs, Marbella and Ronda all within easy reach, Malaga airport too.
Many thanks to Kirsten and the team for a memorable time. We hope to stay again when visiting to prepare for our move!

My partner and I stayed in Jardines de la Reina for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the villa. Diego and his partner were extremely kind and accommodating. Our room was beautiful, cosy and traditional in style. The villa lounging areas had a tranquil vibe with beautiful furniture and plants surrounding. In the evenings we enjoyed the hot tub. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks again for a great stay, we would most definitely recommend a stay in Jardines de la Reina.

I loved my 3 night stay here in the beautiful Moroccan Zoco room. The bathroom was so big and so stylish. The huge comfortable bed was a welcome relief after a week in a villa with a classic Spanish bed! The linens were so fresh and soft. The styling of the whole property was so beautiful. I loved the whole place - a quiet oasis. I was so happy we stayed here as opposed to a beachfront property in Marbella. The only drawback is it is a taxi ride away from Marbella or Banus; but only 10 mins so it wasn’t a problem for evenings out. The pool area is gorgeous and relaxing. Brilliant breakfast and service from Diego and Kirsten. The flowers and trees around the property made for every corner to be so pretty and relaxing. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend.

Hello how far is it to the beach and is it walking distance.
Answer from AppleDev

Hello. The beach is about 5 minutes away by car. I would say it’s 30 mins at least to walk. I am not sure but we have statues here about 7 times. Usually the owners or manager would run us to the beach for a small charge. If not, it’s only 10 euros in a cab. Most places locally will need transport too. You will love it here.

Hello :) Yes, we do not have a problem with a Hen Party of 10 booking, however you must book the entire place for private hire :) We only take group booking directly so if you would like more information simply send us an email or give us a call! Kind Regards, Kirsten

Hello! There are a few restaurants within 1 km of our place, and many more choices in Puerto Banus and Old Town Marbella! Puerto Banus is 3 min drive and Marbella Old Town is an 8 min drive from us. Taxis are easy to get around here. Thanks for your questions!
