Hotel was excellent. You wouldn't think looking at the location that in less than 5 minutes walking distance you would be at the beach. Staff in the hotel were excellent, recommending restaurants to visit in the old town. The pool on the roof was excellent, although visiting in November i didn't brave the water. Would definitely return to stay here again.
Situated in the town centre, Beautiful on trend apartment spotlessly clean with daily maid service, leave your towels in the shower and will be replaced with clean ones, the bathroom also has a hairdryer and a supply of toiletries. Requested a top floor apartment as you get sun on your balcony and get a glimpse of the sea. The hotel is situated on a side street on a steep curve, so there is little traffic and is very quiet. From the hotel it is a short walk to the old town, orange square, the beach and shops. Half day closing on Saturday closed Sunday then Monday to Friday open until late. You can pick and choose whether you want designer or similar priced shops as in UK. Went to Peurto Banus for the day and only cost 2 euros there and back on the local bus. There are designer shops but also the Corte del inglis department store. The restaurants fronting the port are expensive but reasonably priced down the side streets. The centre of Marbella has beautiful manicured gardens and lots of fountains. It’s very quiet in the evenings so go for a stroll a meal and a glass of wine. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. There is a large supermarket on the next street to the hotel and reasonably priced so you can have a meal in your apartment if you wish. Transport from Malaga airport was a mini bus which took us straight to Marbella with no stops and returned to the airport by coach with no pick ups not sure if this is the norm in peak season. Can’t praise the hotel and the friendly staff enough. I forgot to mention the swimming pool on the hotel roof, the weather was hot so didn’t stay there long although it was the middle of October. There is a bar there but closed as it was out of season.…
On the plus side this is an affordable hotel, contemporary design and an excellent location for the Old town. Sea front and transport links. On the other hand, I was glad we only stayed 4 nights as the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the balcony overlooked by office workers, we were woken early each morning with noisy deliveries to nearby shops. The coffee machine broke each morning after each coffee and the breakfast room was soulless.
Excellent location with a 5 minute walk to the Old Town or the beach. The rooms aren’t huge but they’re comfortable and well equipped and the showers are great. There’s a rooftop pool and sun terrace - it’s ingested so we didn’t swim in February but it was plenty warm enough on the terrace which has wide views of the town, coast and mountains. Breakfasts are taken in the bar which also has an outdoor seating area. The staff - front of house, bar and cleaners - are efficient and friendly. There’s no restaurant (snacks in the bar) but that’s not a problem given how many are close by. I’d definitely stay there again
This is a good, clean, efficient and friendly hotel. It’s well situated 5 minutes walk from the Old Town and a similar distance to the beach. The rooms aren’t huge but the beds are large and comfortable and the en-suite showers are excellent. The rooftop pool is in heated so it was too cold to swim during our February stay but the surrounding decking provided a nice place to enjoy the afternoon sun. There’s a large foyer but no lounge. The breakfast area doubles up as a bar in the evenings - a bit quiet during our stay but a good place for a nightcap. We’d happily stay there again and almost certainly will
