The hotel is in a very bad condition. Everything stinks, rooms are dirty. In the first room the smell of the bathroom was so bad that we didn’t spend their a minute. When we were moved to a different room the room was smaller and everything was in a very tired condition. Our air conditioner didn’t work, so they had to come in and fix it. Also, if you want to use the safe in your room, you have to pay extra to rent it (have never seen anything like this). The entire hotel looks old, dirty, and tired. The breakfast was whatever. Definitely this place is not worth the money. Will never come back and will never recommend it to anyone. The only good part was the location. Luckily we were there only for 1 night.
Hotel rooms weren't as advertised on booking. Com they were much smaller and hard beds too. Very different from what we saw to what we got.. Air con was turned on at night when we arrived and woke up with what was like black Ash all over me it mustn't be cleaned regularly. The only bonus we had was that it was a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach.
The hotel is situated near the old town. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. The most rooms are renovated and clean. The staff is very friendly. If you look for a good hotel at a good rate, this is the one! Bus stop is also in front of the hotel. We have enjoyed our stay again.
Hotel is located in city centre .You come out and have a park and from other city old city.Hotel have a choice of rooms so make sure you check for your needs (kettle balcony etc)Generally I give them high 4 stars.
This hotel is a 5* hotel in disguise! Presumably because it’s on a busy road and has no pool etc. it has a 3* rating, but don’t be fooled. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful and professional, and our room was truly one of the best we’ve ever had - clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. There was a small fridge provided in the room for guest use, which was very useful. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Marbella old town, with its stunning buildings, pretty streets and great bars and restaurants. Alternatively, a short walk through the beautiful park and promenade opposite the hotel takes you down to the port and beachfront, again with a myriad of bars and restaurants etc. I love this city and love this hotel, and can’t wait to go back to both!
Recently spent 4 nights here. Have stayed here several times before and have never been disappointed. On this occasion we were fortunate to get the last remaining suite. This room only costs £10 a night more than the premium rooms but certainly has a wow factor. The room was massive - with two double beds, a very large bathroom with standalone bath, walk-in shower and double sinks. Overall the room was very bright with large windows. Although this room is on the front of hotel with a busy road below the windows shield much of the traffic noise. Many of the rooms and hotel area have been refurbished. For a quieter room the hotel has rooms overlooking the old town , most of which have large balconies.
A lovely welcome on arrival, a clean and comfy room. Staff very friendly. Good choice for breakfast in the lovely dining room. . Kettle & cups in the room but no tea or coffee provided. Would recommend this hotel for being perfectly situated and great place to stay for a short visit.
We stayed for five days over Christmas & had a lovely stay. The hotel exceeded our expectations the rooms really spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was beautiful really good choice for dinner and really high quality food. Our dinner on Christmas Day exceeded all our expectations. It was our first time to visit that part of Spain and won’t be our last. We do hope to return to the hotel again as we enjoyed our stay.
The Hotel San Cristobal is situated along the side of the main road passing through Marbella. It is a popular hotel which had many guests. It is probably better to stay at the rear of the hotel as the main road is extremely busy and can be noisy. Around the hotel are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. It is situated opposite the park which has the famous fountain. The desk staff are both friendly, helpful and efficient at their job. The hotel is kept extremely clean in all areas. The restaurant staff in the morning are also very friendly.
From check in to check out, all was great. The 'Hotel San Cristobal' was super clean and had a very fresh feel. My room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Breakfast and Dinner was excellent. The location is superb. Looking forward to returning very soon. Thank you.
