What can I say.... Only thanks really! My second visit in a month.... The first was that good! I fell over in the car park - my fault! In seconds, the Manager was at my side with another lovely employee! They could not have been more amazing, offering assistance which wasn't forgotten. I checked in with the lovely ladies at Red Level Reception who already knew about my tumble... I was fine but the genuine care and attention did not go unnoticed. Thank you. So my son wanted his own suite and they managed to arrange interconnecting rooms, providing my 16 year old with much valued privacy, and me with the reassurance that he was close. Rooms perfect - spacious, quiet, clean and equipped with everything we needed (and if not, provided within minutes via App or phone). Regular room checks and cleaning excellent. ERRE offered up excellent quality food and my son loved it (the Tomahawk steak was literally melt in the mouth)! Gym was great for a hotel, as was the indoor pool. But!!! Above all what makes Don Pepe heads above the rest for me is the staff! They were great the first time, but this time I was remembered by name and every single person went out of their way to make our stay memorable in the very best way! So thank you Don Pepe, it's been a hard time for us as a family recently, but my son is also now hooked.... I'll be back in a few weeks with my daughter also. Can't wait!!! …

We are frequent travellers to Marbella, The Gran Melia Don Pepe is a little piece of heaven and that’s why we return time and time again and have done for more than 28 years. We are already planning our return visit for September, celebrating our wedding anniversary. I find myself almost repeating my exemplary reviews from previous years as the team cannot do enough for you, the outstanding service is what makes this hotel stand out from all the other hotels in the area. On arrival you are welcomed by the concierge/porters who will take your luggage and direct you to the correct reception, the welcome we always receive in Red Level is amazing, (not just on arrival) but every time you enter the Red Level lounge, your guaranteed a smile and a warm welcome from all the team. We always have our breakfast in the Red Level the entire breakfast team are all fabulous and we love to see them all here year after year. What’s not to like about this hotel… NOTHING it’s 5 star all the way. This year l would like to thank Danny and the girls at kids club for entertaining our demanding grandson at kids club, he had a wonderful stay thanks to the team they really did have their hands full but all the kids that we saw were having a great holiday giving all us parents and Grandparents a well earned rest. Also a special mention to Saioa in Red Level for preparing daily our fussy grandsons lunch which was perfect in every way, made with love. It was great to see Abel back, we missed his friendly smile and loved having a chat with him as he buzzes around the hotel popping up everywhere, he’s a busy man but always stops to make sure we have everything we need, Abel has a way of making each and every guest feel very special. This year the Hotel seemed even more special if this was possible, all the small detailed improvements we noticed that had been carefully attended to, these we noticed and appreciated as this is such a beautiful place that needs to be cared for to keep it so special. This has all been done by a very dedicated team who under the carful eye of Noelia operates smoothly from the moment you enter this hotel. Noelia has to be the most hands on General Manager of all time, she is always available and we love to see her around and about in the hotel always making sure that everything is running perfectly. We know we could request anything from her and she would do her best to make sure it happens. The whole team work together like a family and I’m sure this is all down to Noelia the way they all respect her and speak so highly about her. We feel as if we have been whisked off to another world where luxury and service is all that matters. Location! The hotel is an important landmark situated on the Golden mile, you really cannot ask for any better a position. Walk down the steps from the hotel straight onto the beach, fabulous! Our room with private balcony and en-suite bathroom is situated on the higher level, floor seven with views of the Med and all the beautiful hotel grounds, or a room situated with a view of the mountains to the rear of the hotel it really doesn’t get much better than this. Serviced twice daily with everything you would expect from a 5* hotel. The restaurants within the hotel are fabulous. You really don’t need to leave to find somewhere to eat as you have it all here in the hotel. The pool area cannot be beaten, a beautiful pool surrounded by comfortable sun loungers with restaurants overlooking the pool with fantastic sea views. We really miss this place when we are not here and we always look forward to returning. …

A fantastic November break in sunny Marbella was made extra special thanks to this gem of a hotel... thank you to all the staff for your kindness and for always going the extra mile to help, nothing was ever too much trouble. Likewise can only compliment the cleanliness of the room, fab variety of food in the breakfast restaurant (loved the fruit selection!!) all finished on a high with a dinner in Erre to remember. Top!!

Second visit here and we absolutely love it. Perfect location for friends, couples and families. Location is amazing as it's right on the beach, the staff are super friendly and so helpful. We got Red Level room which gave us access to lounge and terraces.

Hotel is about a 45 minute taxi ride from Malaga airport. Hotel has ample car parking on site. I was there on business, meeting room was good and central to restaurants, pool, bar areas Bedroom was lovely, spacious and clean and overlooked the pool Lovely bathroom with good sized bath and powerful shower - cleaned daily and also a turn down service offered Food was good, lots of fresh fruit and variety all freshly prepared Overall, for the conference hotel was good.
