The location between the railway station and the old city is relatively central but quiet at the same time. Both the railway station and the old city are about 10 minutes away by foot. The bus station is right behind the railway station, so the location is handy also if you plan to do day trips out of the city. There's not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but you don't have to walk far for restaurants etc. The Malaga Centro station of the local trains from the airport is just behind the corner of the hotel entrance, just take the exit to Calle Cuarteles. My room was on the first floor facing the street. Traffic noise could be heard into the room, but it wasn't bad and didn't disturb sleep. The decoration of the hotel was simple, Everything worked well and the hotel was clean and tidy. The front desk was friendly. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but a well-functioning mid-range establishment for spending your nights. I didn't try the breakfast.

What more could we ask for?! We stayed in covid times and loved how safe it felt here. It seems Spain can follow rules without it being such a big deal. The room was so quiet, spacious clean and only a few minutes walk to town. Perfect!!! We stayed here for a night after landing at the airport then went to Marbella for a week then back here for a few days before we flew it was only 15 minutes from the airport. It’s a beautiful 20 minute walk to the port from the hotel and so much there on an evening you HAVE to get a llaollao frozen yoghurt with toppings! There el Corte ingles is 3 minutes walk to the left, and to the right only 5 minutes into town. We wanted to eat out for breakfast and sample the town’s offer and we LOVED Brunchit amazing value and more so if you want to share the breakfast between two there are so many! On the way there is a Turkish pizza place (Isturk) it’s cheap amazing deals and fresh pizzas, wraps & kebabs/burgers if you want to eat in your room watch tv and chill out - super relaxing! Oh and a full length mirror. The bath makes it amazing if you’ve been on your feet all day. Fabulous value for money it really is! Thank you to the lovely friendly kind staff we miss you and WILL return! Thanks for the milk in the room for our tea :) If you’re staying in Malaga you’re best staying here.

This comfortable, modern hotel was ideally situated for the city centre and is just outside the train station (C1 line from the airport). The immediate vicinity is not attractive but cross the bridge over the river and you are right in the old city (also close to El Cortés Inglés). The breakfast buffet is reasonable value and extensive with good quality food.

Nice hotel opposite the train station Alameda and overlooking the banks of the Guadalmedina river. It has the look and feel of a business oriented hotel. We experienced a friendly but somewhat uninterested and cold reception by a receptionist who does not very well speak English and that might have been the reason the check-in feels somewhat impersonal. Rooms are spacious with lots of storage space and TV and coffee/tea making is provided Our room had a nice firm king-size bed with enough space to walk around it. The bathroom is neat and clean, with all necessities provided. Hotel location is fine to explore Malaga on foot. Two things are however lacking to qualify for a full four star rating: 1) A decent amount of power sockets to charge phones/tablets/laptops, especially at the side of the bed 2) A bar or lounge where you can enjoy a drink when returning from whatever you were doing in the city. There is some seating space, but this is often also used as office space by local businesspeople. we did not try the breakfast. I cannot see a reason to book an expensive continental buffet when all we need in the morning is a cup of coffee, an orange juice and a toast with tomato and ham. We had breakfast for under €10 for the two of us at the local panaderia's

Literally 2/3 mins from the railway station. Very friendly receptionists and lovely room with modern bathroom/walk in powerful shower. Good value inc breakfast and would recommend. Location good for walk into, the old town or the marina.
