We visited for 4 nights for our wedding anniversary in a Superior room. The hotel is very handy for the train station and therefore the train from the airport, however it is a good walk into the main area which I did get a bit weary of towards the end of our break. There aren't many restaurants around the hotel but we did eat in the hotel bar one night, which was very nice. Good supermarket in the shopping centre tje hotel is part of. The room was very hot, even with the one small window open (which unfortunately the cleaners closed everytime) and the air conditioning did nothing. The wi-fi was particularly poor for a business hotel which the hotel explained they had an issue with and installed a booster. The shower in the room was the best I've ever had and the bed was very comfortable. On the day of our anniversary a bottle of Cava was left in our room with some chocolates, which was a lovely touch and we were offered a room upgrade on our final night, but the effort of having to pack and then repack when we were leaving the next day wasn't worth it. It would have been nice to be offered the room upgrade when we checked in but we got the room we paid for, which was all we could expect. I would recommend paying to choose a better room as the Superior room was quite basic. Lovely pool and sunbeds on the roof, which we didn't use being January.

Good hotel with two drawbacks: poor wifi and poor heating in the room. We got a spare radiator, thanks. Great location, helpful staff. My impression is that the hotel of the same group in Granada is more friendly, although it is older but well maintained

Excellent hotel, really nice staff. Fantastic roof top pool, good rooms and for me a well equipped gym. I like the location too, as its very good for the intercity train service, which is excellent, also the bus station for granada etc. Its 10 minutes walk to the old town and 15 minutes to the west beaches, which are nice. The surrounding area is nice and safe with cafes and restaurants. Also the best shopping in Malaga at Larios.
