The best thing about our stay here was Amanda, the very helpful and kind woman working the front desk when I made my reservation and when we arrived. But it was downhill from there. Our room was loud, hot, and claustrophobic. The lighting was so dim that it made me wonder if the room was clean. There was a ceiling... More

A small quirky hotel in the old part of Malaga. Very quiet, clean with helpful and pleasant staff. This is old traditional Spain so don't expect air con, TV, safe etc or door to en suite bathroom. No breakfast but - nice touch - kettle for tea and coffee in the courtyard. If possible ask for the only room with... More

Room small but very comfortable, a really Moorish atmosphere. Needs a little bit of TLC, but we loved it. It may not be to everyone's taste, if you want air con and sleek lines this is not for you, but if you like character and quirkiness it ticks all the boxes!!!

Pepa was the perfect host. When she saw we had 2 big travel bags, she gave us a bigger room. It was very clean and tastefully decorated, the ensuite was quite large and had plenty of hot water. This Riad is close to everything but surprisingly quiet inside. We also were given a cheaper rate at the parking station. I... More

Small rooms, but ours was beautifully decorated and very clean with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed our stay over the May bank holiday , and the staff were really friendly and helpful when we asked for advice on good local eateries... Thanks for some great Spanish tapas suggestions, Pepa!

El Riad Andaluz provides a surprisingly tranquil and quiet retreat, down a pedestrian street but just a block from the Teatro Cervantes, a vibrant square, and a 10-minute walk from the Picasso museum. Pepa is an accommodating host--full of information and lively banter. The room was cozy but imaginatively appointed with Moorish decor and the balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard... More

I had a wonderful stay at the Riad Andaluz. The hotel has a great Andalusian vibe with cozy decorations and a beautiful courtyard. The staff was exceptional! The price and location were perfect as well. This reviewer highly recommends this hotel!

If you want to stay in an authentic Moorish Guest House close to shops, restaurants, Picasso Museum and more than this is the place for you. 2 resident kitties (one friendly one not so much) beautiful interior courtyard beyond the private outside door accessed through a cobblestone alley.

Old building which is pretty dark inside. The room we had had almost no light and open toilet in room. Location is fine in old quarter. Not very good value for money and better hotels can be found in the old part of town

Sorry for the bad value for money BUT we're in Europe not in Asia where you can sleep for less than10euros. Our price was 49euros for a double room single use in a old building from the XXVIIIe is (you're right, small spaces with "dark" rooms, much better when it's 40d outside) isn't too expensive. You choose a traditional place,... More
