Just returned 24th September 2014 from our second 8 night holiday in 2014 from what we now call our second home the Molina Lario Hotel. For many years we have returned to this hotel in May and September. To be in such a beautiful part of Malaga in a hotel with amazing friendly staff to whom we now class as...

Good Hotel in a very good position close to bars, restaurants, buses, etc. Bus from airport about 75 yards and can be seen from the crossing traffic lights. 3 Euros and takes about 30 minutes every half hour. Nearest tapas bar 50 yards, around next corner towards centre, and then frequently after that. Wide range of restaurants and tapas bars...

My wife and I had a short break in this excellent hotel - couldn't fault it in any way! Deserved high ranking on TA without doubt. Like others have commented, we upgraded to a room facing over the street which was beautiful to look over at night and in the day. This hotel is about as well placed as it...

The staff were friendly and helpful, the roof top bar and pool was a great place to sit and admire the views of the harbour. The whole hotel is not without its advantages - location, size and upkeep of rooms, cleanliness and design of bathrooms - but the coldness of most of the staff destroys any human contact that one could hope for.

Thank you for your comments on TripAdvisor, we really appreciate it. We are quite worried because you told us that the staff didn’t give you a warm treatment and we would really appreciate if you could give us more details about it in order to check what have happened. We have just had 2 nights at the Molina Lario Malaga as part of a trip around Spain and Europe by train. This hotel is fantastic, and sets a very high bar for hotel standards and for judging other hotels. It was just perfect for us; the location was fabulous right in town, close to the main sights (and to...

This was the first time staying at this hotel and it was well worth the extra cost over the previous Malaga Hotel. We upgraded our room on arrival for €14 per night and was allocated a very large room with a partial view of the cathedral. The room was excellent with opening windows, couch and large desk. Central hotel near all attractions of the old town and the revived port. As a previous visitor, check in took about 20 seconds. Only downside was the street noise nearly all night from street cleansing and refuse collection. Certainly be back.
