I was tranferred here from another hotel owned by the same company. I had an excellent stay with a spacious room which featured a large balcony overlooking palm trees, the beach and ocean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Can highly recomend!

Don't take a room in the unrenovated part of the hotel. I said I didn't like my tired room and was quickly moved into the renovated wing of the hotel (room 220?) which was modern, spaciious, with a great balancy and sea view, and decent wifi, hair dryer. I liked the pool area and the bartender made a good mohito. It's a healthy walk from the town centre but I like walking. The breakfast is rubbish for veggies/vegans like me but a bargain if you are a normal person. I would stay again despite the breakfast issues. Staff generally friendly and helpful.

we had to cancel our july 18-19 reservation because the country was closed NO FLIGHTSto SPAIN...they will not reimburse the total paid for the cancelled stay. they claim that we cancelled so that they dont have to reimburse. there was no way to fly to SPAIN, all airlines cancelled flights...the country was closed to forreigners, hos could we show up? this is a scam because you have to pay in total ahead of time with no pay back possibility!! we are living in a pandemia of covid19

Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated no complaints about the cleanliness though. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed too. There was no kettle in the room but you can get one at reception free of charge. No charge for the safe here which is a first. Every hotel I’ve ever stayed in charges for the safe which is ridiculous really. The breakfast was poor and for the price should have definitely been more substantial although it is probably restricted at the minute with all the restrictions for COVID in place. Even so the quality of the food on offer was poor. We asked for full English (as stated on the menu) on the first day but got some form of scrambled egg unlike anything I’ve ever seen before 4 tiny spicy sausages and 2 rashers of very salty bacon. They don’t do beans, tomatoes or mushrooms lol. The second day we asked for croissants with ham and cheese. One of us got that but the other got a bread roll and jam! Third morning we did actually get one very small croissant each with 3 slices of ham but no cheese! They weren’t very good at filling the cups up either. Very small cups which is fine but they bring them out only half full! The pool bar isn’t very well stocked either. Children were asking for ice cream or ice lollies but they don’t sell any at all which I found rather strange. The location of the hotel is great. Straight outside the back gate across a busy main road and you’re on the beach. Lovely walk along the promenade up to the marina and then on to the centre of Malaga all in all about a 30 min stroll. Found in most of the restaurants in the area that we had to wait for service unlike the Spanish customers which is a shame really as we’re all paying customers. This was commented on by several people we spoke to. Would definitely return to the hotel but room only next time as the food was not good and very overpriced.
