We have stayed at Finca El Moralego for a week and it was fantastic. Peter, his wife Nice and family run this finca with love and they do everything to make you feel at home. The swimming pool is great for the kids (and parents) and the house we stayed in (Ginoux) was very comfortable. It was spacious and equiped with all you need to feel at home. The restaurant of finca el moralego is of good quality with fresh made dishes although the restaurants in the neighbourhood offer better value for money. For that reason we had only one diner there what was very good. All in all a week to remember and we certainly consider to go back to once.

In the middle of beautiful mountains you will find this great and peaceful park. We stayed in appartment bernard which is lovely decorated and big enough for a family with two kids. You can dine onsite. The family prepares excellent food every evening. Great stay!

We have stayed here at Finca el Moralejo two years ago in a very small apartment as part of a travel package. This year I have made the reservations (flight, car, stay) all by myself. We have stayed in a cottage named Van Gogh, really nice decorated in Spanish style with (imitation) paintings of the famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The cottage was great, the swimming pool clean and beautiful and the landscape breathtaking. Our host Peter is a very kind guy and he offers the possibility to have breakfast and dinner at his Finca. The location of the Finca is nice for trips to all kind of interesting and beautiful places nearby. But you really need a car to do so. One remark for the mostly Dutch guests: the weather in the south of Spain can be disappointing (rain and cold in May!) and the TV has got no receiver for Dutch programs.

I'm a bit late submitting this review, but wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay here last October. We were looking for somewhere small and quiet, for our first family holiday abroad with our toddler, with a mixture of self catering and meals if we wanted. Finca el Moralejo couldn't have been better - amazing hosts, all the baby/toddler equipment you could need (cot, high chair, long range baby monitors), very good value home cooked meals and breakfasts offered on a beautiful terrace, a lovely pool and charming play area for little ones. This isn't 5* holidaying, but that's not what you want with a toddler anyway! We had a great time and would highly recommend to anyone with young children. It's a very peaceful spot, but you're about 50 mins drive from the hustle and bustle of Marbella and other resorts if you want more entertainment. Thank you to the hosts for a great stay!

I stayed at the beautiful Finca el Moralejo for a few nights to experience the beauty of the Andalucian Sierra Mountains. Gorgeous views! Very nice and welcoming hosts, a Dutch/Columbian couple, who spent the last 13+ years building and developing the amazing garden. Great base for day trips to Malaga (Museo de Picasso), traditional villages inland and on the beach, including Rondo and Chipiona,.... Very clean, everything you need, and really good selection of food at the market in Alozaina. Steep driveway, but my rental car did well on it as there is concrete on the steeper parts. I highly recommend individual stays, but the finca is thoughtfully designed to host large retreats. Swimming pool, hammock area, children's play area, easy parking,...all very thoughtfully designed and well appointed. You will not be disappointed.
