If your looking for a nice rooftop bar this hotel is by far the best in Malaga. Especially if you go when the sun is just about to set. The view from the rooftop bar is absolutely magical and something that has to be seen. 10/10 would 100% recommend. The drinks also aren’t that expensive and the staff are lovely too.

We stayed at this property just for one night because we were transiting to another city. I wish we have stayed here for few more days! This hotel is a central location and walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. Literally next door to the cathedral! We also enjoyed a meal on the rooftop and the views were breathtaking, not to mention the food was also amazing. We hope to be back in Malaga one day, and we know where we will be staying. Highly recommend!

We have lived in Spain for 17 years and are regular visitors to Malaga although we rarely stay over (dogs, etc). However, everytime we come to Malaga, we always pass this hotel and have always said that one day we would try it, push the boat out and have one of the sea view rooms. This christmas, we decided it would be our christmas present to each other. We were going to the theatre locally and did not want to drive all the way home afterwards. Right from the first, when we arrived, Luis was there to take our case up to the room. Check in was easy and flexible - we arrived early but were able to go up to the room. And the view was everything we had hoped for. It was amazing. The room itself was clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. We did our night at the theatre and then came back, had a drink at the roof top bar, which has incredible views, and then spent about three hours on our own balcony watching the ferries in the port. It was a lovely experience. Breakfast the next morning was good with plenty of choice and there was no sense of winding down the offer until the very last moment so no matter what time you arrive. And there was a lovely waiter who sorted out my tea. Would totally stay there again. Room 715 was just lovely.

Stayed here because of the hotels Marriott affiliation and my status. Bonvoyed again. The hotel recognized status at check in and it counted for nothing. Staff were friendly enough and helpful. Location is good (maybe too good in a holiday season as it remains very loud into the night. They don’t allow individual room temperature control so you’re relegated opening windows to keep temperature bearable. Room was very basic (they wouldnt allow me to use my upgrade certs even though they weren’t busy). The lobby reeks of sewer gas and its prevalent on lower floors. You have to vie with people going to the rooftop bar for the elevators and the elevators are very small so you don’t share. It’s a pain. For people with disabilities there are a couple of tiers of stairs to even get in the lobby, not sure how they would manage. Last and not least. I don’t mind paying a bit for comfort when traveling, but this hotels prices are NOT in line with the quality of the product. Hard pass.
