Greeted at check in by a rather sullen looking but still very efficient lady who quite obviously wanted to be elsewhere. The Parador room was very basic for the price, clean as a whistle with a good bathroom and powerfull shower. Part of the Paradors attraction the most fantastic of views. It does not disappoint on that one. My wife... More

The Paradores experience was marred by the fact that one has to pay five euro extra for tea bags in the bedrooms. Our experience in Nerja Poradores was 100 percent apart from that. The view of the sea was spectacular and the area around the pool very inviting and comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel twice -- at the start of the holiday and at the end because it is quite close to Malaga airport. It is hard to find and some sort of GPS is advised. However, once there the view takes your breath away. Loads of tours come up to take a photo and then leave. The rooms... More

We have stayed here a number of times over recent years and have always been impressed by the excellent service. The staff are friendly and efficient. The view is amazing, you have a clear view over the city particularly of the marina, cruise liner terminal and bull ring. The decor is slightly dated but the rooms are a good size.... More

Very pleasant Parador atop the hill just below the castle. Stunning views of the city, looks directly down into the bullring! Very large standard rooms with balconies and nice terrace for lunch, drinks or snacks. Restaurant also good, with some outside tables. The only downside is the distance from town - a 20-25 minute walk down a path (steep in places)... More

The terrace is too far away to get a view. One woman to serve too many tables. After 15 minutes I left and complained to reception. He called for a taxi which costs E2 more. To get up there from Merced is E5 and back E7. Total waste of time. Go late afternoon on a clear day. No public transport.... More

An imposing Paradore above the city with great views over the harbour and city. The staff and the cleanliness are comparable to the same high standards one would come to expect from all Paradores. Malaga has some fantastic restaurants and sites but most visitors fly into the city and move out to a resort. It is a City well worth... More

What could be better than sitting on the terrace on a hot night high over Malaga bay sipping a cold fino with the love of your life. There aren't any other places than here to do that in Malaga, one of the wonderful Paradors that you find all over Spain. Good food, incredible views, and OK, not the greatest bed,... More

It was out first visit to a parador and that's why we didn't know what to expect. This one has stunning views because of its location. All the rest is just average. When arriving there is nobody there to help with your luggage. We stayed for three nights. Room is big enough with view on the harbor. Bathroom dated especially... More
