I booked this hotel for my parents and they loved staying at La Chancla. It is a small but very nice hotel with great rooms, an amazing roof terrace with a jacuzzi and view to the beach and great food. the staff was also very friendly and spoke/understood English. By bus its only 10mins to the city center of malaga and the area where the hotel is located is great to explore too. I definitely recommend!
My sister and I stayed here this week and it was so relaxing! It’s a great time of year to visit. Our room had a fantastic sea view. The upstairs terrace with jacuzzi is a must, even if it’s windy you can sunbathe there as it is sheltered. They have excellent coffee and the food was also very good. Lastly the staff were always so helpful and nice. If I was in Malaga again I would go back.
Ecellent small hotel with a very good value for money. 8-10 rooms on the second floor with seaside restaurant/bar on the first, but never any problems with noise. Really good breakfast with fresh OJ and perfect eggs. Lively terrace with peoplewatching and great drinks. Approx. 4-5 km to the centre of Malaga which is easily walked along the seaside. Parking can be a challenge.
This charming hotel was right on the beach. It was very clean and the staff was helpful. Giant marble bathroom was a plus. Breakfast was good and the sunset from the rooftop terrace was amazing. The Pedregales neighborhood is a terrific beach community full of open air bars and restaurants where you can stroll for hours. I will book a longer stay next time.
I booked this place not because I know where to go but because it was close to work. Luck has it, it was a great pick. In the tourist area but there where very few tourists around. There is a restaurant down stairs with ok food and there is a spa pool on the roof which closes at 10 so never got to use it. But it looks great anyway. You can walk next to the beach each way for a couple of hours. The beach's are tended to on a regular basis so they are nice and clean. Would look great in the summer.
This is a convenient location for Malaga East. The hotel is clean tidy and up to date. Staff are good as is the kitchen. Great value 3-star place. There is no parking but I found a place, on the main road, which was as near to the door as you could get. It wasn't a problem for me, nothing happens to the car but I was glad it was a hire car. It is a good walk into Malaga centre but worth it if your fit enough. We are in our late 60s and manage such things fine.
Very nice room with a rooftop balcony overlooking a great sand beach. The hotel was very clean, people were friendly and helpful. We do not speak Spanish, but they were very patient with us. There are cabanas and umbrellas for rent for rent very cheaply if you don't like too much sun. We will be back when next we go to Spain.
Have reviewed before, but always returning,so must be doing something right.Food and Drink always good,if slightly more expensive.Very hard working staff.Fabulous setting and live Guitar,Violin or Keyboard in the mornings to accompany your breakfast
Great Setting,Glass fronted restaurant, right on the beach. The wait staff, work their socks off,but they need more of them!! Just making an order can be a real task! Lovely place, but be prepared to wait, and wait
We stayed here in the off season. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Our main complaints was that the WiFi was not very good, and service particularly in the bar was slow. We also would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room (even if it was just just a kettle and cups would have been helpful). Hot tubs were excellent and little roof top terrace is a lovely space. Breakfast was good quality and the coffee was served very hot. With the exception of the WiFi the hotel definitely offered good value for money.
