We have just returned from a very relaxing week away. Much of this was due to the hotel being in a very quiet, beach front location and of course the lovely staff. The hotel is very well maintained and cared for by all its hotel team. The rooms are big and as other reviewers have commented if you can stretch the budget to a sea view room it’s well worth it. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms and were not disappointed.
The choice of food available was amazing as you’d expect from a buffet. At meal times we were allocated a 45 minute time slot to keep the numbers down and whether it was this or it being at the end of September it was never overly busy. We tended to go in 10 to 15 minutes into the time slot and never had to queue. I would recommend an all inclusive package, however there are a very small number restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
There are a number of areas where you can sunbathe. Either round the pool, but this is where the entertainment team run their program of events so can be very noisy at times - but great for kids. There are 2 quieter areas at the beach end of the hotel over looking the sea which we preferred or additionally there are sun beds available on the beach (payable locally).
I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. We had a very deserved much needed relaxing break.
For anyone with health concerned about Covid-19 the hotel requests mask wearing in communal areas (but not when you are sitting down to eat or drink), to observe social distancing and the use of hand sanitizer points. From what we experienced all guests complied with this and we felt very safe with all the measures that the hotel had put in place.
We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Many thanks to all the staff at iberostar costa del sol

Right on the beach, this traditionally Spanish Hotel is a most welcoming spot. Part of the Iberostar family of hotels, this one caters for everyone- couples, families, singles. Lots of activities around the pool and quiet areas facing the beach. By far the most popular booking is for the all-inclusive. Breakfast is an enormous buffet of Spanish favourites of Iberian hams and cheeses or eggs, bacon and fried goodies with cereals, juices, pastries teas, coffees and all sorts of breads. Lunch and dinner have all sorts of choices with drinks to boot. During the day, you can snack and sip beers and cocktails…all served with a gracious Spanish smile.
The young, energetic staff are unfailingly helpful.
I would not hesitate to recommend the iberostar and sitting, as it does, right in the middle of the coast, it is ideally suited to sightseeing.
With the warm, sunny weather, you cannot fail too enjoy. The rooms are large and with tiled floors remain a cool haven in which to rest.

Hotel was very clean, you could not fault them. Food was ok, my husband found the food Better than I did.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, all I can say it was like walking into Butlins, kids everywhere and the noise. We did not realise that the hotel opens up to the Spanish at weekends from Friday, this is something I wish we had been aware of. We went to have lunch there was not a clean table and most of the food was gone. Due to so many people at the pool side we upgraded the room to the private swim up pool which was lovely, it overlooked the beach. If you want a quieter part to sunbath there are sun beds located by the snack bar on either side overlooking the beach. Got up on the Sunday and everywhere was peace and quite it was like this until Friday again. The hotel caters very much for the Spanish, there were six different milks at breakfast but all were in Spanish, also the entertainment team talked us into playing Bingo, again all in Spanish which we found quite funny as you can imagine we didn’t win. The smoking area is right where you have to enter reception area, as we are not smokers you had to hold your breath to walk through not nice. There is a daily Charge for your safe also and a deposit for towels which you get back when you check out.
Would we stay here again, I don’t think we would.

We really enjoyed our time at the Iberostar hotel. The food buffet was delicious each morning and evening with a plentiful supply of every food imaginable.
The staff were incredibly helpful, Virginia the reception manager and Jose in particular. They took pains to sort out the issues we had and we thank them very much for their help.
Rooms were very clean and the pool facilities excellent. The hotel is right onto the beach. Couldn't fault anything about our stay.

Let me start by saying that just this year I spent more than 30 nights in different Iberostars. And I’ve been a customer for 20 years. So my low rating is determined by certain expectations that the hotel failed to meet. I have chosen this hotel vs it’s 5* neighbour as it was allowing short stays, without minimum nights requirement. And luckily so cos if I had to stay there longer I would not be happy. Let’s start with positives. Very clean, seem to be recently renovated. Sleeping quality - mattress, pillows - is good. That’s where it ended for me. The premises are tiny. Very small pool with million people in it. We got a room facing the pool, there r some kind of shows in the evening which run until 11 pm? Or midnight? So loud that you can’t sleep even with a pillow on your head. Not my idea of relaxing vacation, at a minimum I expect to be warned about it. Food variety is minimal. Service in the restaurant? You ask for a draft beer (we were on half board), the waitress takes her time to bring you the form to sign for consumption and payment and then tells you to go and bring beer yourself. Oh really? Self service for €3,4 draft beer? Also the beach next to the hotel is pretty average, the entrance to the water is hard with pebbles, but that did not affect my rating, just wanna share it with people who travel with small kids - not suitable.

Dear Tatiana, On behalf of the Iberostar team, we thank you for your loyalty, it is always an honour to serve you and we appreciate the time you have taken to share your impressions of our establishment. We are pleased to read that some aspects of your stay were satisfactory. However, we are sorry that we were unable to exceed your expectations on this occasion. We try our very best to guarantee that the quality of all our services remain at their usual demanding, high standards and that all of our guests feel comfortable and well attended to at all times. We regret this is not the impression you received and we have forwarded your comments to the relevant department for revision. Regarding noise, we do our best to make sure that noise levels always stay within sensible limits so that our guests are not disturbed. Although, at times it can be a challenge to guarantee this, as there are moments during the day, when some noise may be heard. Please do not hesitate to contact our reception on a future occasion regarding any discrepancies you may have as they will happily make sure that your stay is perfect. Furthermore, we are saddened that our exquisite culinary offer did not meet your preferences. Our chefs are passionate about serving delicious, high-quality dishes nevertheless, we will be sure to relay your feedback to the team as they welcome any constructive criticisms. Again, Tatiana, we apologise that we could not fulfil your wishes and we would like you to know that we will look into the areas of concern you raise and we understand the importance of enhancing the holiday experience of our guests. We hope you have the pleasure of your company in one of our Iberostar hotels again soon. Until then, we wish you the best and we hope you had a safe journey home. Kindest regards, Quality Manager, Iberostar Costa del Sol

We booked this hotel as a weekend away in the sunshine. Overall we had a good weekend and wasn't disappointed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the Covid 19 safety measures were in place to keep us as safe as possible.

There was plenty of food to choose from at meal times, however, we was allocated the 19:30hrs slot and the fresh meat cooking station was never ready so we all ended up queuing for 5-10 minutes until the meat was cooked. In my option, if the restaurant opens at 19:30hrs the grill/food should be ready. Saying that the food at all meals was lovely with plenty of choice.

All the staff are friendly and accommodating so we won't hesitate to return.

Cannot rate this highly enough, from the minute we arrived the hotel reception could not do enough to make your stay as good as possible, nothing was to much trouble they are very good at what they do. The rest of the staff are also friendly and helpful going out of their way for you. Our room had side sea view and was immaculate the cleaner did a brilliant job. The poolside was also very clean. Situated right by the beach with a beautiful view. The food was of good quality and plenty of choice.
No tea making facilities in the room which as a tea loving Brit for me is a must.
I would recommend this hotel for rest and relaxation these guys make you so welcome and really look out for you

After a difficult year for the hospitality industry this Hotel has finally opened its doors to guests. As expected not all the services are available but I am sure that slowly they will. Not an easy task as staff need to be recruited and trained .
In summary a nice hotel. Clean spacious rooms, good pool area with access to the beach, buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner has many choices and excellent kids entertainment.
