A beautiful old Palace type hotel. We had the king size bed. It was very comfortable. The only drawback was facing the street. Beautifully decorated room with a wonderful shower. The continental breakfast was delicious. Assorted cheeses, meats, croissants, yogurts, fruit, fresh orange juice and tea or coffee. No complaints. Our only drawback was trying to find the place, but... More

Loved the hotel! Booked a superior room on top floor facing the street. Very nice room and bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful and booked all our excursions for us. There is a really pretty courtyard to relax in or take breakfast. Personally I would go out to a local cafe. El Puerto is very cheap to eat and... More

We stayed here are part of a group. The decor feels traditional and good quality. Simple breakfast but good but no variety so not interesting after a few days. Staff very helpful and jolly, valet parking available in nearby covered garage at extra cash cost. It is a short walk from here to the ferry to Cadiz, the best way... More

The hotel is situated in a good place but the people that work here make it horrible. When we arrived the lady at the check in desk said we had to park outside the hotel. So we did. Then my husband asked for some extra towels so we could use the gym in the town. She told us they had... More

This is a small hotel, with a few rooms on three levels around a central courtyard. I believe one had it's own spa, or sauna or something. Tricky to find in the narrow, dark streets of the old town especially at night, but the parking service was very good and not expensive. There is no night staff, which is a... More

We stayed for a night but should have stayed for at least two. The hotel has been beautifully restored and the rooms we saw were all excellent- we chose a junior suite which was great value for money. We noticed people had commented that the breakfasts did not work too well, we ordered the " better option , that at... More

We stayed here for one night in September. The room was very luxurious and comfortable, spacious, well furnished with an excellent bathroom. We were overlooking the street and it was quiet. The location is very convenient for shopping and for eating. Staff were friendly. I couldn't fault it and it was very good value too.

We stayed here for a few days early in April - the hotel is stunning and our rooms were beautifully appointed .Breakfast was a good continental standard and the staff were excellent. The valet parking worked a dream. We were there during Semana Santa, as we were in the centre of the old town, there were noisy processions almost constantly,... More

Palacio San Bartolome is located in the centre of the old part of town on a narrow road. If you are driving there, you park outside in the single parking slot and someone valet parks for you. The interior of the hotel is very elegant which befits such an old building which has been tastefully restored. There are 11 rooms,... More

The hotel is in the town centre, 5 minutes walking from the restaurant streets. It has a parking concerted nearby, essential if you travel by car as you can not park in the street in P. Santa Maria. The hotel building is very nice and the rooms have a good size and are comfortable, although decoration could be improved. The... More
