A typical small, but mostly clean European hotel down a quiet "street." The room was fine, but the bathroom needed some cleaning. Breakfast was pleasant and provided enough options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel architecture was beautiful.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the pedestrian district of Cadiz. However you can drive your car to the front door in order to access the underground garage. The staff are really friendly and try their best to understand and speak English. The hotel is unique in that no two rooms are alike. All are originally decorated with...

The hotel is well located and near the train and bus station, restaurants, and shopping. Our balcony room was rather small and fairly dark, but the beds were comfortable. There are few outlets in the room and no safe. The breakfast buffet was varied and filling. There was a fair amount of noise coming from the small, quiet street below,...

My wife and I were traveling with two friends and booked the apartment at the Hotel Argantonio during our short stay in Cadiz. It is a very nice hotel, and close to the Cathedral and the shops and restaurants in the old port. We were warmly welcomed at the time of check-in, and noticed that a Flamenco performance was happening...

We were a bit frazzled by the time we arrived in Cadiz as we got lost on the way there.Once we arrived at the hotel and the ladies at reception saw the tense state of my other half ,who'd driven up from Malaga and was exhausted, they offered him a cup of coffee immediately! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.They...

My partner and I stayed here in September and I wish we had read some of the other reviews before booking. The room was small but at least it was clean. the 'balcony' was no more than a foot or two in width and the terrace was under construction so there was nowhere to sit and relax. Construction was underway from...

Dear client, We know that you are the partner of the person who wrote the comment entitled: “AVOID, EVITER….” So we are not going to enter into your blame game. We would just like to remark that we have already reimbursed you the money, although we were not obliged to. As it was explained before, the choice of a non-refundable...

Worst experience of a hotel EVER. We arrived to a beautifully 'advertised' roof terrace which was a construction site. No apology. Day 1.we woke to drilling/construction noise. We STILL decided to give this hotel a chance. After all we had paid upfront for 10 nights. ALL day the noise persisted until we gave in and spoke to the lady at...

Dear Mr. Ciaran C, Definitively, it is almost impossible to make you happy and being aware of that, you should not book non refundable rates any more. It is obvious you did not feel completely comfortable here from the beginning. The fact of that the terrace was not to your taste, does not mean it could not be enjoyed. The...

Spent 2 nights here. Staff gracious and very helpful. Room overlooking street on third floor extremely quiet, heard nothing from outside which was fantastic. Slightly alarmed to find the bed was an ordinary double, we sleep in a super kingsize bed at home and in contrast it seemed very small. However it was a tempur mattress and very comfortable. The...

Spent one night in room 205 here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Hoping for a real find as Trip Advisor rated it #4 in Cadiz. Come on, no way. This place was an okay 2 Star but #4 in a sizable Spanish city. Pluses- near the old city, hotel parking garage close by, staff very nice, pretty good breakfast. Minuses-...

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel is so beautifully decorated, clean and central. The staff is very helpful, ready to help with anything you need. It's in the heart of old Cadiz so u r walking distance from most attractions. The crowning glory is the breakfast. It's so gorgeously presented, delicious and plentiful. Loved the teapots.
