You can only drive here to quickly drop off passengers and baggage. VERY narrow streets bring you hear. Our room was nice and overlooked the courtyard. There was little or no ventilation which the staff didn't know how to change.
A very comfortable hotel and probably the quietest we have ever stayed in. Rooms extremely quiet, clean and pleasant. Continental breakfast is a little bit repetitive but with an Andalucian flavour. The staff kindly gave us a cold breakfast at 6.00 am when they normally don’t start before 7.30. Staff very friendly and helpful, even allowing me to keep my bike in the hotel.
Liked the hotel a lot. No breakfast on the hotel but many options at the plaza including mini markets. The adjacent streets where a little noisy, but we still loved it. The hotel is bang in the middle of the town, within easy walking distance of La Caleta, almost all of the sights and the RENFE/bus station.
We booked to stay here 5 nights in November and were pleasantly surprised. Nice reception staff and decent sized room. We paid considerably less than the advertised walk in price but that was maybe because it was late November! Unusually for Spanish hotels there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also good sized modern bathroom with walk in shower. My only grumble is that if you say on the bed leaning against the wall the bed slid forwards. We didn't have the hotel breakfast but chose local cafes for coffee and tostadas/ croissants. But the location is main selling point- in the heart of the old town. Top tip- if you arriving by car probably best to park car first and then walk to hotel as most of more or less pedestrianised.
On holiday in Alhaurin with family and decided on a Saturday night in Cadiz. Think this was the last room in the Old Town that night, but it was great. Reception was welcoming and the entrance and public rooms were lovely. We had secured a triple room, which was clean, modern and fitted the bill. The bathroom was fully appointed and all clean and good working order. Air con was an essential and worked well to give a comfortable night. Although not included in our bill, we had breakfast in the hotel's cafe restaurant. Coffee, toast and orange juice for two was only €8! This also gave you croissants, cereal, fresh fruit and more. Overall, a great stay that allowed us to visit and experience Cadiz. We will be back.
