Stayed for a night in late August - what a fantastic hotel. Beautifully decorated, lovely pool with just enough loungers and a good pool service/restaurant (expensive though). Also Roman baths (3 pools) in the basement - tho we didn't use them. The rooms were great - we asked for adjoining rooms and we were placed in a junior suite (basically 2 adjacent rooms but with a separate entrance and common area - really nice). The rooms were a good size, and good bathrooms (including baths). We didn't eat in the hotel, but there's a lovely courtyard as well as a dining room (with fascinating ruins underneath, viewed through large glass panels in the floor). Service was fantastic - friendly and helpful, with nice touches like coffee and water on arrival and water to take with us on departure. Valet parking as well. Not cheap, but good value I thought. It's well located too, easy to walk to much of the city centre and main attractions.

Up there as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Unique historical building, beautifully adapted . Large garden view room overlooking garden growing flowers, pomegranates and oranges . Heated pool . Hurrah ! Air conditioning that is effective . Hurrah ! Staff that say yes to everything . Amazing evening meal in beautiful courtyard . Shut out blinds and lovely large bed to get a good sleep . And the icing on the cake the free Roman baths beneath the hotel. What a treat . Tricky to find either in car or foot but when you find it’s it worth it ! Close to all major sites and restaurants . Can’t say enough good things . Well done . A very nice stay . Highly recommend .

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Córdoba. Finding it was hard.. roadworks.. but hotel staff just took car away and parked it for us. This hotel is fantastic. 15th century palace converted to a beautifully restored hotel. Great room.. aircon good. Hotel built around a beautiful garden with a small but lovely pool. Very hot so we ate dinner in the hotel both nights. This is served in another courtyard. Lovely food and service. Breakfast is served in a room with a glass floor. There are ancient baths underneath. A wonderful, discreet. Quiet. Beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Short stay in Cordoba, but it was excellent. Rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated, ... The breakfast is amazing : all kinds of fruit, bread, juices, meat, cheese, ... you name it, it's on the table. Every guest has a one hour free of charge stay in the Roman Baths; you must do it. Very relaxing! And above all, staff is excellent.

To start with a positive, the room was clean & comfortable. However, for a 5 star hotel there were far too many let downs. Service in the restaurants was slow & we both sent our lunch back on the first day. Breakfast finishes at 11.30 and lunch doesn’t start until 1 so if you want anything to eat between these times then tough. There’s no room service at all. There’s an automatic service charge of €3 per person in the restaurant, even if you’re just having a drink. The bar closes even to residents at 11.45pm despite bars in the city being open until 2am (so not a Covid restriction). The shower in the bathroom was pitiful & had tepid water. All in a pretty disappointing experience

Dear Mr Andrew, Thank you for your stay and kind review. We appreciate all your comments which definitely will help us to improve it. Sorry for disappointing you not matching your expectations. Just some hints for next guess: We do have a 24 hours room service: food and drinks service. And F & B last order according to COVID restrictions in Córdoba is right now till 24:00 hours (plus one hour you could stay in F & B areas but not service is allowed after midnight). So it seem there have been some misunsdertanding concerning these matters. Anyway as we stated before we apologize again for not providing a service up till your expectations. We thank you for leeting us know. Yours Sincerely, Alberto Pérez - Hotel General Manager
