We paid above market rates for a room pictured and described with an upper level balcony/lanai through Trip Advisor/Agoda. It even showed a picture with a set of stairs in the bedroom. It was instead a very small regular room with not even a window to the outside. The hotel also only provided one bath towel. We showed the website...

It is a small hotel, only 10 rooms, so very personal. The location I the best, one minute walk to Mezquita the cathedral. The view from the terrace overlooking the city is also fantastic. Both service and breakfast were excellent. Be aware of the room you get though. I had a room on the ground floor, with windows towards the...

The views from the top balcony are fabulous - sip a drink, eat amazing jamon drizzled with olive oil, watch the moon dance above the famous Mosque/Church. Rooms are romantic and spacious...even a bathtub in our master bedroom. Best dried apricots left in room - some of the best juicy ones ever. (and i adore them in CA, Turkey, Middle...

Firstly, thanks for Alex's instruction of the hotel, he is very educated and patient. The hotel was built in 17 century, the modern design mixed the history very well, the view is incomparable! The only thing needs to be improved is the shower room, the floor was flooded after the shower. But still is worth choosing this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful facility all around, and our Room 9 was spacious and lonely, if sometimes noisy. Occasionally amateurish service, especially from the front desk (misplaced passports, almost-missed train due to late taxi order). Good restaurant recommendations. Very nice breakfast. Somewhat more like an expensive B&B than a proper Euro 350 hotel.

I think its a nice hotel. It all depends on which room you get. Ours was originally a chapel and was hot. They would not turn on the A/C the first night. When you opened the window it overlooked the courtyard where other guest smoked and talked on their cell phones. So it was like they were in your room...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cordoba but it was greatly enhanced by staying at this hotel. Location was perferct and those views from the terrace were sublime especially at night when the buildings were lit up. As it is a small intimate hotel you got to know other guests which was lovely. We stayed in room 4 (Mitra) which...

Our stay at Balcon de Cordoba was just PERFECT. The only thing I would change is to stay longer! Our room had a private rooftop patio overlooking the Mezquita - just amazing. And the staff were amazing. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time we are in Cordoba!

The only tough part is arriving in your rent car. Luckily we had sweet Maria on the phone to guide us ... This is a splurge but well worth it, and probably the best breakfast so far in Spain, eggs cooked to order. We booked the Junior Suite and we amazed by the views, do your spouse a favor and...

We booked a midweek two night break and selected the terrace suite which was absolutely lovely and has a really nice lounge, two balconies, one of which has an outside chill out double bed for relaxing. We received really good advice from both Raúl and Alex on reception. Raúl reserved a table for dinner for us on the terrace restaurant...
