For a basic hotel, this is great. Very well priced. The rooms are ample and clean, with a TV, hair dryer and lots of light. We had a double room over-looking the street, which had a balcony. Very central, yet in a quite off-beat road. Really couldn't complain. The management / staff however were incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming, always made...

Best staff ever. Very helpfull and dedicated. Great location. Simple rooms in a very quiet area. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Loved it. Cordoba is also very nice. We stayed one night. 2 nights may have been better.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a Double Room at the front of the hotel. We arrived at the Cordoba Train Station and walked the approximately 1.5 km to the hotel. The room was a reasonable size with a double bed. The bathroom was small. but adequate, clean and had a shower over a bath tub, wash basin, hair...

Downtown Cordoba is small and relatively quiet when compared to most touristy towns in Spain, so pretty much any hotel downtown puts one close to anything there is to see. The rooms at Don Paula are spacious and clean and reasonably priced. We were never more than ten minutes away from the hotel, allowing us to return to our room...

Nestled in the old town is the small but beautiful Hotel Don Paula, we were provided with both written directions and also a YouTube video to watch showing directions to the hotel through the maze of narrow roads, one way streets, dead-ends that form the old town. Thankfully the directions were excellent and we found the hotel ok. If you...

I reviewed this hotel very favorably 2 or 3 years ago and stayed there again on a later visit. It was great to be recognized as I arrived, and the service, location, and friendliness of the owners was even better than the first visit I made. You might want to ask for a room whose windows look out on the...

We found the reception to be very friendly. We got a ground floor room which was great for my bad knee. The room was clean and comfortable and two bottles of free water was provided along with four small cartons of juice. We took a taxi to the hotel from the train station but when we were exploring on our...

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at Don Paula, which is a basic hotel conveniently located for the main sights of Cordoba. Rooms are a good size and had everything we needed. Decor is a little dated, which didn't bother us in the slightest but is probably worth mentioning for those who are fussy about that sort of thing....

If I had nothing to compare it to, I might think it an OK budget hotel in a marvelous city, but there's so much better out there. Challenging to find, down a dark empty street to venture out for dinner (no immediate access to restaurants), it's clean, very basic and in need of updates, hard beds and thin walls, there...
