We stayed here for three nights and chose the hotel for it's location, near to just about everything! Getting into the car park was a bit tricky, especially as we'd stopped just past the entrance and then had to reverse back and manoeuvre into the lift in a street busy with pedestrians, buses and delivery vehicles! Stop before the hotel sign if arriving by car! The staff came out to help, and in general were very helpful and friendly (and far more informative than the staff at the tourist information centre!). We were out and about most of the time, but our room was super-clean, the bed comfy and the wall-mounted tv a decent size. Would definitely stay again when back in Córdoba.

Hope I have spelt her name right. Iune was so helpful with her maps, her recommendations, and just making us welcome, which is what you want after cycling 30km. All staff were great but she was special. Thank you.

The hotel was central to all the sights. The beds were comfy and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was well equipped and the towels larger than some hotels. The bathroom had a bath and there was lots of hot water. We had a front room with a Juliet balcony, with the door open it was a little noisy but we quiet like to hear the buzz of the city going about it’s business. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cab from the station cost 5 euros but you could easily walk. The hotel does not serve breakfast you have to go next door to another hotel so we just went to a local cafe which was great as we had to use our very poor Spanish. The communal area and bar was the only disappointing thing about the hotel. Lovely on the outside but lacked soul and no one used it. The coffee machine was dreadful and the bar an after thought. However would recommend this hotel excellent value.

We stayed one night here as part of a drive around bits of Spain. Cheapos we are, we booked a double room paid for with Avios points and skipped the breakfast. The room is usually around £35 , so it's definitely budget for this tourist packed area. Breakdown of the experience: Parking - terrifying. £19/night. Park on pavement to check in, then allow receptionist to hold the traffic while you do a 99-point turn in a rented Fiat Panda to enter a car lift that may or may not lead down to hell. Room : Fab air conditioning unit, interesting view into the breakfast room from 2 out if the 3 large curtained windows (try to control your inner exhibitionist - you really are dressing, sleeping and, abem, cuddling next to people having breakfast). Bathroom looks decent but the handyman/person has botched the shower holder, meaning the wonderfully high pressured stream actually flows up and over your head, over the cubicle and into the bidet. Staff : Absolutely bonkers but it will be the most fun conversation you have with a Spanish person all holiday if you can't speak the language. We were at reception a good 20 minutes on arrival, as a wonderfully enthusiastic lady welcomed ups and we tried valiantly, her in Spanish and us in English/Spanglish to converse about our trip and the useful map of Cordoba she had provided to us. After constructing a mime for communicating the phrase "oxtail soup" and the lady showing us her flamenco dancing, we were happy to roll along in the baffling bonkers madness that is Hotel de Los Faroles. Overall great cheap hotel with parking, mad staff and pleasantly insane set up.
