We are in a restored house dating from the sixteenth century. All the original parts of the existing house have been preserved, and the rooms have been arranged around the patios. The zones of new construction are in front of the biggest courtyard in which an archaeological deposit, dated around the IV century, found during the building refurbishment can be observed. Patios del Orfebre is located between the millenary and narrow streets at the heart of Cordoba, 350 m from calle judios, 450 m from the majestic Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba (Mosque-Cathedral), this casa-patio dating from the XVI century has opened its doors, and offers an unforgettable experience: stay in a wonderful architectural example, a protected building that is part of the historic center of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and among one of the largest sites of the entire old continent.

The truth is that I didn't expect it, I had read reviews, but really the accommodation is worth it. It has nothing to envy others of more stars and category, the large and comfortable room with a spacious bathroom and everything very clean, in a quiet area and close to the historic center, very simple to go everywhere walked and only 15 minutes from the train station. Good service from the staff, even a night out from reception hours we had a problem with the room key and they came quickly to fix it. Excellent quality / price.

Our room was very small and there was no option for breakfast either at this hotel or a decent breakfast anywhere nearby. The patio is much smaller than the photos suggest. If you get a room on the first floor, you will likely hear the coffee maker and the microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

Thank you very much for your comment. We are sorry to hear that you found the room small but it is the right size for the category of the establishment. We would like to inform you that we do have breakfast service but it is not in the establishment, it is in a cafeteria 200 metres from the establishment. Best regards

The primary highlight with this hotel is the location, you are literally minutes by foot away from the sights. At the very same time, if driving, you are not far from large underground car parks too, so pretty much in the sweet spot.

The room is not the largest, but we were only staying one night anyway, so not an issue. The bed was comfortable and the A/C more than sufficient for a hot summer day. The bathroom was a decent size too.

We needed a late checkout and the staff were more than happy to accommodate.

All in, a nice cosy hotel which was very good value for money.

The Pension is very well located on the edge of the new town and the old town. Public underground parking for a fee is less than 200 m away (very convenient to leave the car because the area is not accessible: you must park before reaching the Pension). The various sites are very easy to reach on foot, many restaurants are nearby.
The welcome is friendly and the staff available.
We rented the suite with terrace. The room is very spacious, on several levels, very quiet.
Unfortunately, it is not very functional: old furniture, a single bedside table on one side of the bed, all sockets (admittedly many) are on the same side of the bed, a single lamp that goes out only on one side. The terrace is large but no umbrella allows some shade, so it is impossible to get there during the day. No broom to clean the toilet. The bedding is comfortable.
In short the Value for Award remains correct but some amenities more pleasant the stay. The other rooms are perhaps better arranged.

So much more than a “hostel”, this place features spacious rooms, an elevator, and a great location midway between the train station and the Mesquita within the old town. Very friendly staff. Newly remodeled room with a fridge, and spacious bathroom. I highly recommend! Great value, too!
Be sure to buy tickets to the Mesquita in advance, it’s not to be missed!

Very pleasant surprise, a simple house but they deliver more than enough. Clean and spacious rooms and bathroom. Excellent value for money.
As a suggestion, I just point out that they could improve the pillows and solve the problem of the electronic keys that blocked the entrance to the room several times.

We spent 3 nights in this charming Pension, the bedding is very good, the rooms very clean with a very nice bathroom with Italian shower.
This property is perfectly well placed to visit Cordoba, you are a 15 min walk from everything that is to be seen as well as the train station.
The Pension does not offer breakfast but you can go for breakfast at DON PEPE place Tendillas , delicious chocolate con Churros!
I highly recommend this Pension.

Extremely nice hotel near the Jewish quarter of Córdoba. Comfortable small rooms that are very clean and very quiet along with nice staff. The place is airy on a small street and the rooms, although small have a lot of light and feel open. I would like to stay here again,

We only spent 24 hours....the hotel is on.a.very peculiar street but close to tourist attractions.

The room is spacious, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful and pleasant.

The staff was kind.....

I stop commenting on the breakfast because they start serving at 9 am and my train leaves at 9:30 am.

For the location, room, cleanliness and the hotel itself, I recommend it and if there is a new opportunity I will return
