We are in a restored house dating from the sixteenth century. All the original parts of the existing house have been preserved, and the rooms have been arranged around the patios. The zones of new construction are in front of the biggest courtyard in which an archaeological deposit, dated around the IV century, found during the building refurbishment can be observed. Patios del Orfebre is located between the millenary and narrow streets at the heart of Cordoba, 350 m from calle judios, 450 m from the majestic Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba (Mosque-Cathedral), this casa-patio dating from the XVI century has opened its doors, and offers an unforgettable experience: stay in a wonderful architectural example, a protected building that is part of the historic center of Cordoba, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and among one of the largest sites of the entire old continent.

This was such a lovely surprise. A modern hotel in an old city. The hotel was perfectly placed and within walking distance from the train station and the old town. The room was really modern and a good size for three (we had a double bed and single bed) The staff were really helpful in providing recommendations for sightseeing and dinner. Definately recommend to stay here.

Our room was very small and there was no option for breakfast either at this hotel or a decent breakfast anywhere nearby. The patio is much smaller than the photos suggest. If you get a room on the first floor, you will likely hear the coffee maker and the microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

Walkable from train station and that was important as we only stayed a night. Room was extremely spartan. Bed was tiny, barely sufficient. Reception staff were outstanding and recommended some good dining spots.

This Hotel is situated in a quiet street between the old town and new town. Takes only 5 mins to walk to either. This wonderful hotel had friendly helpful staff. The rooms were of a good size with plenty of storage place Large TV on the wall Bed was of a good size Balcony to look out of This hotel is 1 * but worthy of being 3* at least The hotel was extremely clean throughout the building Excellent value for money

Well located right next to old town, this place is cozy and clean. Rooms are on the smaller side but everything works and is exactly as advertised, including the cute courtyard and the token ancient ruin in the patio. A hidden gem this is not, but a well run rest stop is what we needed and that’s what we got.

Nice and well located hotel in the Old town within walking distance the Mezquita Cathedral/Mosque and other monuments of interest. The room we got was spacious, the bathroom was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and we could get the room already att 11 in the morning as it was cleaned and ready. We highly recommend Patio del Orfebre.

Great location, very clean, small rooms, no breakfast, and no inside sitting area. Patios open to the sky, so not good in cooler winter months or hot summer. Good prices. Recently renovated. Just a few minutes walk through the old town to the sights and many restaurants. Also convenient to the new town.

Decided to travel to Cordoba from Málaga last minute and wanted a central hotel that was relatively cheap but good. This one cost us £32 for a lovely room. The hotel is so clean and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The hotel is in a central position in the beautiful old town but is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Don’t let the cheap price fool you this is a very nice hotel and probably the best one we have stayed in for price anywhere in the world.
