Just as a note, we understand and accept that prices of all hotels of the city rise considerably in one of the most important weeks of the year for the city, "La Feria de Córdoba". All our rooms have natural lighting and windows either to outside or to our main "Córdobes Patio". We loved this hotel. It is an old house that has been redone to a hotel. Completely updated with nice touches throughout the place that keep the charm of the place. Excellent location. And importantly, the staff is first class and will go out of their way to make sure you are taking care of.

We enjoyed a perfect 2-night stay at Madinat: friendly staff, beautiful place, confortable room, great breakfast buffet and, last but not east, a great rooftop area to enjoy a plate of jamon and a drink while enjoying a 360° over the city.

Our stay at Hotel Madinat exceeded my expectations. I am so glad I was able to find this hotel while planning my 3-wk Iberia vacation with my partner. It is perfectly located for the key Cordoba attractions, and its amenities are top-notch. It is also the only traditional boutique hotel we used, featuring the central courtyard design with an atrium roof to let the light in. To say it is charming is an understatement. Our stay started with the concierge Paloma sitting with us upon arrival to present a map of the city, making notes of places we should visit and offering dining recommendations. All of which we followed! It definitely made our short stay in Cordoba more productive. I should also mention how impressed I was with the design/decor of the hotel...what a great blend of traditional and creative elements, along with a respect for re-using materials. It was a delight to examine all the creative ways old objects and furnishings were used. I took a lot of pictures within the hotel! And I should not forget to mention the wonderful roof deck, the delicious breakfast, and the luxurious bed linens. Madinat will easily be my lodging choice if I return to Cordoba…

The hotel is an interesting juxtaposition of contemporary, sleek design and old roots that took us somewhat by surprise. We were only there for one night and didn't get to partake of everything it had to offer, but thoroughly enjoyed the location so convenient to the cathedral, the rooftop deck at sunset, and especially the very thoughtful service by everyone we encountered, including front desk and kitchen staff.

My wife and I stayed here on our visit in Cordoba and we loved it! The atrium is pretty and the rooftop view across the top of the city was unique and special. When we arrived we were greeted by Yousseff, who gave us a welcome drink and a map and gave us many recommendations to make sure we didn't miss anything that the city has to offer! Great service and great location, very close to a lot of attractions.

We loved the staff, the rooms, and the breakfast here. We are a family of 6 traveling in the south of Spain for Holy Week. We had one night in Cordoba and we all agreed we wished we had stayed here at least two nights or more.
