A Good hotel in a very beautiful surroundings

Randomly chosen this hotel on the way from the tough day in Buchenwald. The hotel is pretty good, we even extended the stay for one more night. On the second day of our stay we discovered the beautiful park next to the hotel with the mineral springs. Staff of the hotel is very diverse- some of them are not very friendly while others - very polite and tactful. Availability of free parking spaces and good breakfast, perfectly clean sauna and swimming pool ( which are empty these days) not to be forgotten as a huge pluses points to be added to the list of “+s” of this hotel.

Great place for a meeting

Participated at a scientific meeting at H+ Hotel and Spa. The meeting room was large enough for over 120 participants. We had lunch, buffet style with a wide variety of food. I do not use pork or pork products, but there was always good options including fish and chicken with a wide variety of vegetables, and always bread, rice and pasta for those who needed this staple. There was always desserts but since I am partial to ice cream, I took my fair share of three different flavors.

Super relaxing escape

Had a super relaxing afternoon and evening wandering the parks around the hotel and swimming in the pool. Even fell asleep next to the pool for a while. The room was great, breakfast was delicious, WiFi was fast and the town had a great beerhall. There’s even some great hiking to be done just steps from the hotel. Staff were efficient if not terribly friendly and the pillows were way too soft for my taste but all in all, I was totally impressed by this property and had a delightful stay.

Spa Hotel in Thuringia

Large spa hotel in Thuringia with the quality that you would expect from Ramada chain. The hotel is run on industrial scale with many staff around. Breakfasts are very good although one had become use to freshly baked bread in Inn locations baked up from partly baked in smaller volumes. Saying that, the fresh fruit was very good, cheese, meat all excellent. There had been reports about this hotel of noise at night. Only on Friday night did they have "Schlager" party music which you could hear on the third floor out the back. By mid night all was silent. The type of people that visit this hotel would appear not to be late night party people. Thuringia appears to be the centre of "Schlager" and many German conversations are about whether it was Elton John on that one, or X, Y or Z. Posters of "Schlager" events were in the town. Bit weird if you enjoy a different genre of music which you just don't hear in these parts being played in venues. Room kept spotlessly clean. The wifi is free but you have to select it on the German Telecom SSID not the hotels SSID that offers the possibility of high charges. On the Telecom one you enter the visual computer generated graphic which needs to be repeated each time you come off the router e.g. go out or outside of the time limit. Parking is free and appears that the building to the side of the hotel is associated with the Ramada so you can use that as well if the Ramada hotel parking is full. We eat in town rather than in the hotel which is a fairly easy walk down if fit. Did not sample the spa "treatments" of the hotel.…

Enjoyable stay at excellent hotel

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years and it is consistently good. It has a good location with free parking and views to all sides. Nice rooms, good service, great breakfast and a spa - what's more to want?

Excellent hotel

I have stayed here several times and this is an excellent hotel. Very good breakfast, very clean and very good service. Lots of free parking, beautiful setting and good value for money. Spa is nice but you can't swim in the pool - looks good though.
