It's a nice comfortable hotel with a good breakfast buffet. Our room had the sliding door for the shower connected to the bedroom and a separate room for the sink and toilet. Not recommended for a person that is shy. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk to St. Petri-Dom which I consider the more central part of Schleswig.

We had to book the most expensive room at the F-Ritz, around £85, so we expected something good for our money. Certainly the room was very pleasant and the bed very comfortable. There were lots of big windows with blinds on them. Unfortunately the only one that opened was a small one plus the door to the roof terrace (which... More

Good location for visiting Haddeby/ Haithabu. Nice, new, well-designed boutique hotel. Breakfast only, hence a "hotel garni". Sauna in the large garden in the back, which I unfortunately had not time for. But if you do have the time, you can jump right into the outdoor swimming pool, even when the air is a few degrees above freezing. Clean, nice... More

A truly excellent choice if you need to stay in the area. Very clean, friendly English speaking staff, and simple but tasty breakfast. The rooms have a modern design and the beds are comfortable. The dining room has decent WiFi and my phone even picked up the signal in the room. The only drawback is that there's only cnn and... More

In December 2013, my fiancé and I stayed at Hotel F-Ritz for a short stop-over on our way from Copenhagen/Denmark to Bremen/Germany. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our one-night-stay. Our room (6) was spacious with a big double bed. It was nicely decorated with many lovely details. There was a big closet as well as a desk. The... More

We were so looking forward to a relaxing stay in this lovely area after spending time in Hamburg city, and we were not disappointed! F-Ritz is a charming and really comfortable hotel, with an English speaking owner who could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Our room was up an easy flight of stairs, very spacious, clean, with modern... More

The hotel might in the first place be difficult to find, since the street next to the hotel is a one-way street. As far as I know, this hotel is owned privately which we liked in this small German town. We spent one night in this hotel on our way back to the Netherlands. The rooms are recently new, if... More

We were travelling to Norway and we spent one night in this hotel and really enjoyed it. A beautiful and clean bedroom with a private terrace, the beds were comfortable. The owners told us about attractions in the area. It was a sunny day, so we ate at the 'Patio' in the village.

Very friendly place - warm welcome, good English spoken, free wifi, big German breakfast included. About 15 mins walk from amazing Schloss museum, 10 mins from train station, 25 mins from Viking museum but probably about an hour walk from historic town centre so you'd need a car really (tho there are a few good places to eat near the... My hubby & I spent one night here and really enjoyed it. This hotel was clean, the beds were so comfortable and the owners are so nice. They offered us a map at check in and pointed out a walking trail that would take us to the other side of town. She suggested good places to eat and told us... More

“There is a nice garden in the backyard. The small pool was under construction in June, so it should be ready to use by mid of August 2012. For a small fee you might even use the sauna. Give it a try and enjoy your stay.”
