My wife and I stayed two nights in this hotel, The cleanliness is one of the best . Staff were very friendly and helpful, Breakfast was excellent. Ample car parking is available and is free { many hotels in kiel charge to park}. There are restaurants a short walk from the hotel for evening meals. I will give this hotel... More

stayed here because it is walkable to Kiel University, 25 min level walk; the hotel is small, no air conditioner, not a problem unless it becomes extremely hot, which is rare (but did happen for a few days in summer) particularly when you are given the top/roof (3rd) floor. there is no elevator, so could be a problem if you... As the title say this is sweet ,small, clean friendly hotel. Not too fancy, simple, comfortable, warm and likable. Price is reasonable , the stuff are friendly, and their advice regarding the nearby resturant was very good :-) , although they had no English menu :-(

We had two issues while we were at the hotel. Both times the front office staff did not correct the problem, was rude, and did not appear to care. We only stayed there for the cruise package and there were even issues with that. Based on our experience, we will not stay at any GHotels in the future.

This hotel has nice large rooms which overlook the garden and are pleasantly quiet. Bus service to the city is adequate. Mostly convenient if you are working with U. Kiel or the IPN. The lighting is somewhat inadequate esp in the bathroom, but that will await renovations. The staff were attentive--everywhere you heard guten morgen or moin. Breakfast was classic... More

The Ghotel is really nice place. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Brekfast is delicious and its offers a lot of different things to eat. The main advantage was location near the University but it has to be highlighted this won't be advantage for everyone because the hotel is a little bit far away from Kiel centre. Rooms are cleen but... More

It is a little out of the city, but if you have a car it is perfect. Good price, new and spaced rooms. The reception woman was great with the city tips and restaurant suggestions... I did not take the breakfast, so no commemts on that... I paid 60€.

Great hotel if distance from city center is no obstacle (by car ~15 minutes). Rooms were clean and comfortably sized. Baby bed was provided on request & ample space for baggage/clothes was available in room. Breakfast was served reasonably late (sun/holidays until 12pm). Only issue was missing elevator which required several trips up/down stairs with luggage. Would go again when... More

A pleasant, no-nonsense hotel, pleasant and frienly staff, very quiet though excellently situated. City centre easy to reach by car or bus, bicycles for hire, on the road to the canal and the beaches. The price and the number of stars would definitely not make you expect such a pleasant place. It's a real insider-tip.
