I recently stayed here for three nights during a business trip to Magdeburg. The location is excellent, near the city center (about 20 minute pleasant walk from the train station). I was impressed by the friendly staff. I had a package sent to me at the hotel before the trip, and it was waiting for me in the room when... More

We had a short stop over to break up a long train ride, stayed one night but wished we had planned for a second night. The hotel is an interesting facility, still has the feel of a 1970's luxury property in all the good ways. Lots of spacious public areas, lots of wood. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Excellent location near... More

Was there on business trip for multiple nights and enjoyed the spacious rooms, friendly staff, spotless cleanliness and the very good breakfast. So overall it was alright, but nothing special. Interior design has skipped a couple of decades (on the pro side is a wooden floor though - good for travellers with dust allergies), i have hardly ever seen such... More

Everything was great. Staff took time to help with reservations. Lots of shops nearby. Parking was 10 euro. Breakfast, was not worth the price, but there are plenty of other coffee shops near by. Booked it online with ease.

Located in the city center of Magdeburg the hotel has its pros and cons. Pro: Location, great breakfast, good room size, swimming pool and sauna in the basement! Con: Seriously which 4* hotel does not include Wi-fi ? 4-5€ additionally per day. Sorry, but what year is it? Rooms are in good shape but do not have air conditioning, fan,... More

I was here on business so I didn't have to pay. But if I would have payd the room price I would have had some remarks. You can't charge that much for a room with no 4 star services! No extra blanket, no tea or coffee, no wireless wifi ecc. A lot of things were just not completely at a... More

This is supposed to be a four start hotel, but there is no wifi, no coffee in room, no kettle, no safe, no A/C, no soap, no shampoo. On the plus side, the rooms are quite large compared to most European rooms and the bed was quite good. We found Magedeburg a little busier than most of the other Eastern... More

Magdeburg is like a forgotten city some parts still set in the old east german style others new and vibrant. Around the hotel are many bars and places to eat.The hotel situates in the centre of town was beautiful good food and excellent staff.

I stayed here for one night in July. Temperatures outside were 36 degrees Celsius and inside not much cooler. Not so much as a fan to be had in the entire hotel. No free wifi at all (for the first time between Hamburg and Dresden), something which, given the 4-star status and the prices of the hotel is simply inadequate.... More

We searched for a hotel in Magdeburg and ended here although we assumed it would be dull, as se en from outside. We were wrong. We had great service, got a nice room with balcony on the top floor (ask for that), had a good breakfast included and access to the swimmingpool. The bed was big and comfortable, the room... More
