This long stretch of building house 3 IBIS hotels and Bastei is just one of it (nearest to train station) Breakfast not included so we brought some from Train station (left) or a shopping mall on the right hand side. Parking is open space car park at the back of IBIS. Must buy ticket (from road side machine) quickly else... More

I chose Ibis because of the location. It's on Prager Strasse full of shops, shopping mall, restaurants and so on. Everything you need is close. As it was my shopping weekend I knew what I was doing :) It's also very close to the Train Station, Old town with all the attractions like Zwinger, Oper, FrauenKirche etc. The room wasn't... More

I have used Ibis Budget hotels before, so I knew the size would be smaller. However, the facilities are everything I need for a couple of nights stay. The location was amazing! There were plenty of places to eat near by, just a few minutes walk to see the all of the sights in the city center. To walk to... More

Ibis has three 'connected hotels' - each with its own reception, but presumably otherwise identical (same building/construction). I had booked with one of the three - and after waiting for help in the reception of that hotel .... I was told that I had been moved to one of the two other 'Ibis hotels' (why not inform the guest beforehand?).... More

The hotel is very accessible by walking from the main train station. Rooms are clean and bigger than most Ibis hotels I have stayed in especially in Europe. The front desk personnel are pleasant and accomodating

Advantages - good location, near the railway station. Walking distance to most tourist spots. Rooms were clean. Disadvantages - no free wifi, no tea or coffee making facilities ( very disappointed in this ), no refrigerator, breakfast was limited and expensive so we ate out. Typical budget hotel - what was expected but less than hoped for.

I was originally travelling solo so it was a perfect location - you get off at central station and walk across the road to the mall, and you see the IBIS sign! It's right near everything you need. Little did I know but the staff had helped my partner arrange a surprise visit and engagement from Australia! They were amazing,... More
