We stay in many hotels all over the world. I would not say this is a four star hotel. Parking is limited. Extra for parking In the very compact garage. (Thank heavens I didn't have to park or I would not have been able). Parking is a extra cost all over, I wasn't surprised about this. It does seem parking...

Typical Mercure hotel very close to the city center. Free parking spaces in front of the hotel (parking garage is not free). Our room was fine though the furniture was very outdated. Bathroom was good and bed was fine as well. Use this hotel if you plan to visit the city and only spend your sleeping hours in the hotel.

This is a really nice, convenient hotel right in the centre of the city. I used this as a stopover location driving from Calais to Switzerland. The staff here were all very very helpful, polite and well trained. The parking lot (under the hotel) is fairly small, but good if you can get a space. There are also a few...

We stayed at the Mercure Saarbrücken for 2 nights and had the opportunity to enjoy the quality of service it provides, the efficiency of the reception staff, the friendliness of the waiting staff and the perfect location of the hotel. We are used to staying in Accor hotels but few hotels of the group have treated us with such thoughtfulness...

A two night break here was spoiled by the worst Accor/Mercure/Novotel experience I have had since becoming an Accor Gold Member. Maybe the fact that I had enough points to reduce the cost of the stay softens the blow, but this hotel falls well below the standards of its sister hotels that I have stayed in. Arrival would be helped...

Good overnight business standard hotel. Nice room clean and tidy with good bathroom, good food in restaurant we had fixed menu as we were on a coach tour. We had a one night stop over on our way to Italy. Only a brief stay but would certainly stay again if in the area and would recommend this hotel.

Decent hotel with all the necessities that you can expect from a mercure chain hotel. Great location and very friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The rooms were a bit old especially in the first floor where we stayed, but they were still cozy. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

We stayed one night at the Mercure Saarbrucken City. English-speaking receptionist and lots of other staff. Nicely finished room. Ate dinner in the restaurant and service was excellent. Had the local delicacy of dumplings filled with sausage meat. Parked the car in the small private underground car park. Overall good hotel for a City stay in Saarbrucken.

We stay here annually on the way back from southern Germany, for the second time running we were given a room made up as a single not a double. This was put right after a call to reception but surely housekeeping and reception should co ordinate. The towels and bedding are stored in the wardrobe. We complained to the manager...
