We stayed in this hotel with friends on our way back to Calais having been on the Romantic Road coming from Austria where we had been for Christmas. Having read the previous reports I was more than a little doubtful. However, we found this hotel to be a real surprise. The room was modern, clean with two large beds. There...

Located a short walk from the historic centre of Trier, everything was as it should be in a budget/mid priced hotel. Friendly staff, nice clean room with a good shower, good breakfast. Great place for a stopover in this interesting city.

We booked on Booking.com so that we can cancel if the need arises. We booked for 2 nights but needed to cancel due to a change of travel plans. We didn't see the small print and it turned out that Hotel Deutschherrenhof booked the money from our credit card even though we have NO PROOF that they didn't just rent...

This hotel is like staying at someones house. The room feels like someones guest room and the interior is very "homey". Okay, it might be a bit outdated, but if you are looking for a great value for your money, kind service and good location this is the place for you. The hotel uses a local parking house for parking,...

Spent 2 nights in Trier mid week, and can recommend this hotel as a good value hotel with 5 minute walk into Trier. Parking uses the near by city park garage at a very good rate. Hotel is clean, helpful staff, with a good (5€) buffet breakfast. The shower room is a bit tight and could do with updating but...

This is a standard fine German hotel: clean large rooms - we had a family room with two double beds, bathroom with lean shower and hot water. Breakfast for 5 euro with a large selection. Room was 100 euro for a night, for 5 euro a parking place was reserved. Service: fine. What makes this hotel "very good" is its...

The hotel is a bit outdated and the floors are very creaky, however the location was a short walk to the center of town. It was a bit inconvenient having only one room key since you needed the key to enter the hotel after 10pm and the desk area was closed off so 2 people could not go to different...

This hotel is easily accessible if you come by car to the city but just a couple of min. walk to Porta Nigra and the pedestrian shopping area. You can walk to most of the sights and shops. When you arrive by car, you have to stop on the side walk to get the key and plan to the parking...

It is not easy to find this hotel Trier has many one way streets, but it is situated on the left handside of a oneway street and you can park outside for up to 20 mins to unload. Parking is difficult in Trier so it is good that the hotel has parking a few minutes walk away for a small...
