We booked on Booking.com so that we can cancel if the need arises. We booked for 2 nights but needed to cancel due to a change of travel plans. We didn't see the small print and it turned out that Hotel Deutschherrenhof booked the money from our credit card even though we have NO PROOF that they didn't just rent... More

This hotel is like staying at someones house. The room feels like someones guest room and the interior is very "homey". Okay, it might be a bit outdated, but if you are looking for a great value for your money, kind service and good location this is the place for you. The hotel uses a local parking house for parking,... More

Spent 2 nights in Trier mid week, and can recommend this hotel as a good value hotel with 5 minute walk into Trier. Parking uses the near by city park garage at a very good rate. Hotel is clean, helpful staff, with a good (5€) buffet breakfast. The shower room is a bit tight and could do with updating but... More

Just returned from Trier having spent a magical weekend at their Christmas markets .We stayed at this hotel on foot of reviews here .The hotel is very clean if a little basic but we expected that .The staff are all very friendly and accommodating .The rooms are very clean if very dated and basic .Our room had and en-suite which... This is a standard fine German hotel: clean large rooms - we had a family room with two double beds, bathroom with lean shower and hot water. Breakfast for 5 euro with a large selection. Room was 100 euro for a night, for 5 euro a parking place was reserved. Service: fine. What makes this hotel "very good" is its... More

The hotel is a bit outdated and the floors are very creaky, however the location was a short walk to the center of town. It was a bit inconvenient having only one room key since you needed the key to enter the hotel after 10pm and the desk area was closed off so 2 people could not go to different... More

This hotel is easily accessible if you come by car to the city but just a couple of min. walk to Porta Nigra and the pedestrian shopping area. You can walk to most of the sights and shops. When you arrive by car, you have to stop on the side walk to get the key and plan to the parking... More

It is not easy to find this hotel Trier has many one way streets, but it is situated on the left handside of a oneway street and you can park outside for up to 20 mins to unload. Parking is difficult in Trier so it is good that the hotel has parking a few minutes walk away for a small... More

I had a single room in top floor/Attic. At 4th. floor plan. There was only one long way up in a steep stair made of tree material. Up there in the Artic there was only a small roof window - no escape plan in an ev. Fire and the only way up/down was by this one staircase. Unbeliveable that this... More

This hotel is a 20 minute or so walk from the train station, but what a walk!, past the stunning sights of Trier. It is just a few minutes or so from the old town sights, with a grocery store a couple minutes away. The hotel itself is clean and quite comfortable with a great bed and shower and free... More
