The hotel has a very nice and fancy restaurant, but the rooms are rather worn down. The bed was way too soft. Very good breakfast! Take a 20 minute drive to the old center of Trier which is charming and has a lot of remains from when it was occupied by the ancient Roman empire.

Room Tip: Get a room with a riverview, even though the windows are very small, so you won´t see much.

We stayed in the apartment which is a brief walk from the hotel, opted for the breakfast buffet at the hotel-variety of choices. Ate dinner here and the waiter was fantastic!! Able to get us a terrific port to close out our meal. The weather was nice so ate all our meals on the terrace.

Nice place with nice Terrasse but with really unfriendly personal. The whole Terrasse was empty but all tables was reserved. We asked for a table for 6 people and we were told that it's not possible. Two minutes after two people also without reservation got a table for 5 people. Sorry but we are not in Paris... But in Pfalzel... In the middle of nowhere... On Sunday afternoon.

This hotel, a converted cloister, is definitely different. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with delicious items: fresh breads cold cuts, cereals, fruits, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was ok, but not outstanding. Service could be improved.

Situated in a beautiful ancient convent very near to Trier and next to the Mosel bank in a little, quite village. Trainstation to Trier is just a 10 minutes walk along the riverbank away and with just one stop to Trier the easiest and cheapest way to get to the city. Plenty of parking space next to the hotel. Service in the hotel is so great. Need something, just ask. Frau Lentes and her crew are always good humored and doing their outmost best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Really feeled at home at her hotel. Food & wine was great. Breakfast was bio and so good 😊. Coffee fair trade.... need I say more. When I return to Trier, I'll certainly stay there. Must be wonderful in summertime with the view on the Mosel.
