I have been to Trier at the high season in the middle of August and was looking for a decent and reasonably priced hotel somewhere very close to the Trier´s historical center. Finally I booked for Hotel Paulin for one night, single room. I came in the late afternoon and was led to hotel´s parking lot, which is in the...

After a couple of days in Munich in October we realised that hotel rooms would be hard to find before getting back to France. We checked our usual chain hotel and fell back to this one. Really, we fell forward ! Better value, nice hosts, comfortable and fantastic breakfast ! Parking is very reasonable too.

This hotel boasts a great location. Just a stone's throw away from the Porta Nigra, this modest hotel is worth a stay. The breakfast buffet was ample and the service personnel was helpful and friendly. The room was functional but comfortable. The wifi was average. Clean and quiet. All in all a good deal

A very convenient hotel for being close to "everything". We had a spacious room, very clean and comfortable. The same with the bathroom This is not a new or modern hotel, but gives definately more value for money than others. Good breakfast in a quiet area. They have a private garage underneath the hotel, where we stored our bikes. *...

We stayed here because of reviews and we weren't disappointed. One block from Porta Nigra and an incredible shopping area. Caught the Roman Train (9€) and saw many of Triers high points. Management Nancy - and her wonderful dog) were delightful and was very helpful in resolving an issue with breakfast being included. We recommend Hotel Paulin highly and will...

This was a last minute reservation for us and it worked out well. Porta Nigra about 100 yards away and very convenient. They offered free underground parking and the breakfast was only 8 euro, and very good. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English for us to muddle through communication.

I never book in advance when on my motorbike but had researched that this hotel had secure parking. An easy to find hotel and when I pulled up the evening manager came out to greet me and to say that they had secure underground parking accessed by a lift, if I needed it. Very helpful receptionist, I planned to stay...

Hotel Paulin is walking distance to everything, also has a supermarket next door which is open late! Nice place to stay, it was surprisingly big and well equipped for a 3 star hotel. Porta Nigra is 100m away as well as the main shopping district full of cafes, restaurants, shops, nice buildings and the cathedral! Hop on and hop off...

We stayed at the Paulin for an overnight. First off, the service and hospitality of the staff was top knotch. And I don't mean like professional courtesy(which they still were anyway by default) but more like a genuine sense of hospitality usually seen more at B&Bs. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfy. We have a baby, to which they...
