Hotel gets good ratings at various sites. They pretend to respect Covid consequences. However they don’t clean rooms and especially ingnore the bathrooms. Dirty! Shocking, especially these days. After having changed rooms.......we again found ourselves in a dirty bathroom. Some off the staff are even embarrassed. We are just extremely disappointed. So much for ‘Deutsche gründlichkeit’...
This is a pretty boutique hotel in Trier. It’s modern inside, a mix of old world decor with the Ivy covered tower and part of the main side facade. The front entrance is all modern. The interior is as well updated, clean and fresh looking. The staff are warm and accommodating for our night stay here. They offer a buffet breakfast. It’s a pretty hotel in the middle of this cute little town in Germany. It’s a cozy spot for a short stay.
Stayed for two nights at the Nells Park with a colleague, on a business trip. The experience was great from the start to the end - the hotel is nicely located and the rooms are fine. The hotel restaurant is very good, with a tasty veggie/vegan choice. Very good breakfast, and good value for money in a business package. Wi-Fi worked well, too.
This is a good four-star hotel about 30 minutes walk, or a short drive, to downtown Trier. The room was comfortable and the service was good. I particularly like the intimate park adjacent to the hotel. One point, when I asked for directions at the front desk, the young man gave me a google print in Germany. I do not speak Germany and spoke with him in English. I suggest this four-star hotel could train their service help better.
Loved this hotel located 2-3 km from centre of Trier - quiet and away from busy-ness of city centre though easily accessible to all the main sites (by car or walking). Staff are very friendly and attentive and speak English. Outdoor terrace restaurant is beautiful and surrounded by a park and gardens. The only reason I give this hotel a “4” is because the rooms are dated and a little stuffy but still comfortable. The hotel is being renovated so I would recommend requesting an updated room. There is a spa on site. Hotel guests get free access to the sauna and steam rooms. A nice treat!
