The main issue I have with this hotel is the massive construction they are doing. They are building a new wing and making pavement in front of the hotel. This was a very bad surprise when we arrived. The construction noise started at 8am. They should clearly advertise about this. This clearly was not known to us. The hotel is...

The very best hotel I have stayed at. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, superb facilities and great food. This really is what all hotels should be like. Highly, highly recommended. We will return and will stay longer next time.

The rooms in Hotel Villa Hugel have no room numbers, but names. The personal approach of this hotel is embodied by this fact. Hospitality with a capital H. Situated on a hill top, nice view over Trier, superfluous and fresh breakfast, best hotel spa, everything is very good in hotel Villa Hugel. I will definitely come back.

Great hotel. Only 15 to 20 minutes walk to the City Center. The rooms are super cosy and comfortable with everything you need. The pool is not too big but a nice ambiance to swim during the whole day. The sauna area is very nice and relaxing and also opened until 10 pm The breakfast is fantastic and overwhelming. Do...

We returned for our second pre-Christmas break at Hotel Villa Hügel. Excellent room, very quiet although there were plenty of guests, warm and helpful service. We enjoy running errands and shopping in Trier, but we could have spent the entire day enjoying our room, the view, the spa section, and the excellent food. They serve a great breakfast, and have...

A beautiful hotel, wonderful rooms and a fabulous breakfast buffet. While construction around the hotel is almost finished, the owners and staff were most helpful. A beautiful interior and the warmest of welcoming's. If there is a better hotel in Trier, (and I doubt it), we don't care. We will always return to this gorgeous and well staffed hotel. Thank...

The outside of the Hotel was being given a renewal which detracted from the first impression of what turned out to be simply excellent from the moment I put my foot over the threshold. Staff- Very friendly unobtrusive staff who were extremely friendly and all spoke very good English. Decor- Very clean and understated eloquently Bedrooms - Very well appointed...

We stayed there for half a week to do sightseeing in Trier. It's located in 10 min walking distance to the centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was good as expected, but not extraordinary. Decent indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and Sauna. Everything was very tidy and clean. The breakfast was outstanding good in terms of quality, selection and...
