Hotel's Favorite
I have stayed in this hotel and will keep coming back. The staff is very well trained and the customer experience is outstanding. I wish they were to reward regular customers in some way but this is minor compared to everything else! The manager is great too!

Warm and classy lobby welcomes you together with helpful and efficient check in staff. Rooms are clean and modern. The beddings were soft and perfect for sleeping after a long flight. Breakfast buffet is a must try!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Multi-generational family (2 grandparents, Mom & Dad, and 3 kids ages 14, 11, 9) spread across 3-rooms. Worked with hotel in advance to ensure room arrangements including connecting rooms and a roll away bed. Hotel delivered as promised! Everything was top notch. Great view of the river, nice pool, amazing breakfast with lots of options, decent lounge, great friendly service, and a great location. Only negatives were no USB ports in room and the room size is adequate but not very big. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Have stayed at the Mainz Hyatt several times always in a river view room.The room is very comfortable and well appointed with a huge bathroom.They are cleaned to a high standard.The view of the river makes it a very peaceful experience watching the traffic gently ply their cargo up and down.The breakfast is good and the staff helpful. Although it may seem pricey it is well worth the money.

Grand hotel with spacious rooms and good SPA. Breakfast is excellent too. It's well situated close to the Sbahn station and front to the Main. we could in less than 15 min reach city center where you can find nice place where to eat BUT be aware everything is closing at 21h.

Although a short duration of stay,my experience was truly remarkable at Hyatt Regency Mainz. Staff are warm and friendly. Great selections of yogurt,breads and hot meals. Delicious honeycomb was so uplifting. The room was clean,equipped with a bath tub,separate shower booth. Bath amenities such as shower cap ,cotton puff were great too. Nespresso coffee machine is a good company to unwind the day after a walk alongside the Rhein river .

From the ease of parking to the friendly staff at check in, and the superp room overlooking the river it was just a great experience. Location provides for scenic walks along the riverfront and easy walking distance to the spectucular old town.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the Rhine and in walking distance to the old town and all the shops and restaurants of Mainz. Beautiful walking paths along the river, excellent lounge and restaurant, great sized rooms, and outstanding staff make this an excellent choice. The breakfast is amazing!!

We booked a very last-minute stay in Mainz for 2 nights & decided to opt for the Hyatt Regency & very glad we did. The hotel is maybe 15 minutes walk from the Cathedral & central area situated in a pleasant spot on the banks of the Rhine. We opted for a "non-river-view" room on the basis we weren't spending much time in the room which proved fine, our room was on tyhe first floor overlooking the adjacent side street although I'm certain a river facing room would have been lovely. Our room was large & modern with ample storage space. We did have slight issue with the shower spilling out into the bathroom but this is a common issue with so many hotel bathrooms. Other that that the room was perfect for our needs. The public areas were lovely with a very nicely laid-out bar & on the Saturday evening we stayed & ate there as we were tired & their was a great musician & a generally great atmosphere in the space. The food was nice but very pricey so naturally we would have preferred to ventured out but had we been there earlier in the day, the outside terrace was really pleasant in the sunshine. Our car was safely parked in the underground car park although we did have issues leaving the property on two occasions via the car park barrier. We used the pool & spa area which were nice although the hot tub was closed with an ugly barrier surrounding it & we have spent time in nicer spa/pool areas but was still pleasant enough. We didn't take breakfast during our stay on the basis it was expensive & very busy but it did look great. Overall, for the price we paid for the Hyatt Regency we were very pleased with our stay & would definitely return.…
