This is a quaint country hotel that must appeal to families in summer. The area is wooded, and they have deer and wild swine on property. It is very quiet at night save for the occasional braying of the stags. It was a very nice place to stay.

We loved this place. Our arrangements fell through elsewhere and we found this, on the fly, on the web. And loved it. Our room was very comfortable and the location is amazing. It is next to a wild-animal park with great walks. In the woods we found a Roman villa! The warning: very little English spoken here; it's much more... More

we enjoyed our 3 day stay here; place is very nice located in the woods, but close to te city. Nice room, good shower, good beds, good enough wifi. There is a dear park on the grounds, pony rides and a play ground, in summer and vacation times it is very busy round the hotel, with family's with lots of... More

Nice location, room is spacious, but staff is too busy and some are not friendly at all. Wifi is not working and after 10 min in the shower hot water was finished. Our daughter had a shower but the rest of us couldn't. I think the price is too high for what is offered.

We had a great one night stay at Waldhotel Forsthaus Remstecken. The hotel is tucked away in the woods outside Koblenz. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the facilities, and the room was large and comfortable and clean. We had a car, so getting to the secluded spot was not a problem. I went for... More

Stayed here in December on way down to Austria. Perfect place for overnight stay in a stunning countryside setting but convenient for motorways. Bedroom was lovely warm and clean as were bathrooms. Didn't have evening meal but breakfast was one of the best ever had on the continent. Loads of choice and all top quality. Would definitely recommend and stays... More

In the middle of the woods, at 15 mins from the Koblenz city centre, and right between Rhein and Mosel, this is just the perfect location for sleep and eat. We were here for lunch and enjoyed very much. Kids playing outside and visiting the wildlife park, we enjoyed the cozy inside. Food is very nice and of good quality,... More

This property is in a beautiful setting. The bedroom and bath were very nice and comfortable. The downside is that it is really not on the beaten path so it takes some finding. This was especially hard given that we were on our bicycles. It was a very terrible rainy day when we arrived and the owner attentive to our... More

Perfect German hospitality and setting. We enjoyed the beautiful country living and the ability for feeding the deer and pigs. Like most German hotels/hostels their is no airconditioning (very normal in Germany), but for the average American this may be something they cannot accept. Call ahead to see if they have fans they provide, also the evenings are cooler because... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in a suite with my friend as we supported our children on their choir tour of the Rhineland. I have to say we were extremely impressed with the size of the room and even had our own kitchen and sitting area. Breakfast was included in our deal and was traditional continental with plenty of...
