This is one of those German hotels that has been made from converting two houses so the bedrooms look just like, well, bedrooms! It was not difficult to locate and there was on-street parking outside but also secure parking opposite. The check-in and check-out staff were pleasant and helpful and it is a short walk, about 10 minutes, from the...

Near railway station and city centre, but not in the city centre. Quiet street. Small comfortable room. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant very close which does good Italian food. There are stairs to get to most rooms.

The place looks rather unprepossessing from the street, but this impression gives way to a most agreeable surprise inside. Rooms are lovely and spacious with views over a well-tended garden. The furniture and layout are gracious and personal -- very far from the usual mass-market feel. Breakfast area is also most agreeable and tastefully presented. Breakfast caters to all tastes...

We stayed here 2 nights in mid August. It is within easy walking distance to the main railway station and the old town - about 10 - 15 minutes walk to each. The hotel room and bathroom were clean and spacious. I especially liked the shower which, compared to most hotels, was large. We asked for a quiet room and...

Stayed here for two nights in June 2016 on our independent tour of the Rhine Valley. Hotel looks rather impersonal from the outside but don't let this put you off because we found it a great place to stay. Our welcome was warm and sincere and we were helped with our luggage and quickly shown to our room with a...
