Stopped here for one night after a long drive before doing a Rhine day trip on the paddle steamer Goethe. This is a really friendly hotel, which has been in the same family since 1949. It is a little interesting to find, being the other side of the river from the town, up steep hills and through various residential streets....

Stopped over for one night only on way back to UK from Italy. Hotel itself was fab. Very clean and tidy with a private carpark. People extremely friendly and helpful (reasonable enough English to help us get by), had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was typical German fare, meats/cheese/bread, all fresh and plentiful....

you should stay here, just for the view over the town. This family run hotel offers you relatively cheap meals. The rooms are rather basic but certainly sufficient for the money. You have all you need.

Can eat outside with wonderful views and seeing sun set over the town. Owner/staff very helpful and speak excellent English. Plenty of car parking space. Country feel to the area. Surrounded by...

My wife and I stayed here on 25th July 2011 on our way to northern Italy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic location - once you've found it! nearly burnt the clutch and Tomtom's Susan became hoarse but managed to maintain her temper! Large bedroom and en suite bathroom both of which were very clean and comfortable. In the restaurent, a...
