Just off the beaten path of Kaiserslautern my family of four ate there for a reasonable price as part of a larger group. If it is season you have to try their Neurer Wein and they were very helpful with us in finding one of our party something without Gluten due to an allergy. Didn't stay in the hotel itself...

This hotel/restaurant is tucked away in the woods to the south of Kaiserslautern. If you don't have a satnav I don't think you'll find it! Simple rooms with good facilities, excellent food and beer. There is a large beer garden which probably gets very busy when they have musical evenings.... Very friendly staff and lovely walks nearby. Took a 3...

Kaiserslautern is a mainly unattractive town but with an excellent opera house. If you go and want to avoid the noisy and busy city centre, try the Bremerhof. Make certain you have accurate directions as its not easy to find and is quite a long way out of town. Not bad value.

Superb! We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant was still packed with people enjoying evening meals. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. The owner took us into the city to the football stadium and offered to collect us. This was typical of all the staff wanting to help and please the...

I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Hotel Bremerhof while I was in Germany for a course. I had a room on the first floor overlooking the Biergarten. The hotel is in a lovely location not far out of town, surrounded by fields and forest. It's quiet due to the location, but actually gets a lot...

We are a couple visiting our son in Kaiserslautern. We wanted a place to stay that was convenient to his house, where others in our family were staying. This place was perfect. We were very impressed with the charming atmosphere, accommodations and the setting. Beautiful meadow surrounds the hotel, with horses and goats. Quiet countryside locale, but minutes from the...

Just 10 minutes outside the city by car. In the middle of the beautiful German forest. Nice large Biergarten with good German beer and food. One playground close to the Biergarten for the smaller kids and one in the forest for the older kids close by. Perfect to sit in the shade and have a beer while the kids have...

Reasonable hotel in an extremely beautiful region of Germany: Pfalzerwald. Building and rooms are average and clean, but have the look and feel of a Pension. Staircase and corridors should absolutely be renovated in my opinion. Staff is very nice, but felt insecure about to the halfboard we booked. There was no consistent menu, for example: starters were not included...

On our way across Germany we stopped in to Kasierslautern, a fairly large industrial town with a huge US military presence. Hotel Bremerhof is on the outskirts in the forest area. Quite a ways from the beaten path but the seclusion and surrounding area was ideal for relaxation. It has a huge beer garten and the rooms were nice and...

In a quiet location at the edge of a huge park. Lots of parking. Rooms are comfortable and modern and the service is perfectly OK. Breakfast is good. Avoid eating in the evening as the food is stodgy.
