Nice hotel, clean rooms, staff very friendly. Location is very close to center and shops. Public parking is very close. Very quiet location. Hotel didn't charge us a small bottle of champagne, it was a gift from them.

Windthorst is entirely adequate and at a good rate, but for a few Euros more, there are many better places. Windthorst is close to the train station and to the city center, that is good, and the noise factor from the street is not bad, but our room was strange: the bathroom was crowded with a water tank directly above... The hotel occupies a few floors in a non-purpose built building and their reception is on the 4th floor. It closes at 6pm and they don't even answer the telephone during daytime Sundays. Good luck if you need to check-in late!!! I was told by my travel agent to collect a key from the hotel next-door.Such an hotel didn't exist... More

Easy location near the train station, promenade jogging area and city center. A few minutes walk everywhere. Clean rooms with modern facilities. Breakfast was really good and it was served in a room with nice view over the park. There was only one iron in the hotel and I had to wait until a last morning to finally get it.... More

A very central location , minutes away from the main station and tourist attractions. The wonderful leafy walkway around the city is only yards away , as are shops and museums. Breakfast is attractive and varied , and served in an atmospheric room , with a fine view of the city. Staff are most friendly. Rooms are spacious, with good... More

This place had an ok breaky... Pillows were tired and a little sad. But my complete pet peeve is places that say they have wifi, which isn't free, and can't be paid for at the hotel. Telekom wifi at 4.50 an hour is simply unacceptable in this day and age. My assistant, who is traveling with me, doesn't have a... More

Very nice hotel.Perfectly located- within walking distance from the central station. Very clean. Good food. Nice view from the restaurant and the room. Reception at the 4th floor a bit weird...We had room on the fith floor and it was more than we had expected.

Walk a block from the train station and you are at the Windthorst. Walk another block from the Windthorst and you are at Munster´s wonderful Promenade. Such convenience. Rent a bicycle at the train station for 8 euros/day and see the entire city that swarms with bicycles. Breakfast buffet overlooks a park from the 4th floor and is great. Down... More

Hotel is straight down the street from train station. Large, clean rooms. Our room in the front was a bit noisey with young people talking in the street late at night at times, but overall a good hotel. Just a short walk to the town center, with many cafes, restaurants, shopping and historic sites. Breakfast buffet in a cheery room... More

The hotel is very near the train station on a pedestrian street. It's a very easy walk to the center of Muenster and also to the Aasee. The room was quite large and very comfortable. Casual furnishings made it delightful--no cookie-cutter chain hotel here! At check-out, the man at the desk (seemingly the owner) said that his mother had decorated... More
