Excellent suite, everything you would want, but couldn't control the room temp so not the best of sleeps. For a business hotel the bar was really quiet, menu was uninspiring , staff were friendly and helpful, but the whole place was just dull.

This hotel is owned by Bayer, serves Bayer well but does not behave like a real hotel. Imposing building, I had a large clean well kept room, but the service was idiosyncratic. Ring the room service you get the kitchen who tell you you have to go to reception to order (very limited) room service. Restaurant also has a limited... More

Stayed here for business. Quite an unusual but distinctive hotel by parts of its grand interior yet on the same scale can occasionally feel old fashioned. Standard double room was large and comfortable. Only complaint about room was TV was other side of bedroom! Very friendly staff who were always accommodating. Breakfast was great. The steak was fantastic but unfortunately... More

I booked into this hotel for a 2 night business trip as all the usual hotels I stay in were full because of a trade fair. The hotel I think is owned by the Bayer Chemical group and it does fell very much like a company conference centre. If you go through the wrong door looking for the breakfast room... More

Just stayed for a very little time here. Very close to Bayer HQ, this is very neat and clean hotel. Staff are good but you can face bit difficulty as they don't understand English much. Managed by Bayer gastronomie, you have to be careful during booking that your visit should not coincide with some big meeting of Bayer otherwise, you... More

I was booked to run a course at the hotel. On check-in I was not told that I had been given a smoking room, and when I asked the very young lady at reception for another room, she told me in a very aggressive manner that they were fully booked and that I would just have to live with it.... More

I was there for the Koln Anuga Food Tec fair. The hotel isn't so close to Koln but it's very nice: rooms are huge and clean. I've reserved a single room and I had a single bed: usually I have a double bed for business trip. But it's been quite comfortable. Unfortunately the staff of the restaurant doesn't speak English... The room was huge and had absolutely everything I wish from a business hotel! Breakfast was also very good. Location is also excellent if you have a meeting nearby. I will definitely go back (if not fully booked as usual! )
