Do not stay here! I booked a triple room for the weekend and upon arrival was told it would be have to be two rooms, one with a single bed and one with a twin room, not too bad I guess, except for the fact they were on totally separate floors, in a separate building to the hotel. So we...

Stayed two nights on a business trip. Certainly not a quaint hotel, but for practical purposes ok. Good wifi, room ok-ish, but bath is too small. Also very thin walls, you can hear your neighbours, Breakfast is substandard.

Even if I'd paid budget prices I would have been unhappy but I paid an average of 106 euros a night for my stay which is nowhere near what this hotel is worth. On check in there was poo in my toilet bowl, hairs on my bed and the room hadn't been hoovered. The "modern" decor is nineties at best...

Stayed for one night and that was enough. Conveniently located, if overlooking the main high street is what you want, and boasting two buildings on opposite sides of that street. Overall, the hotel last saw renovation in some year that began with a 19, and it looks and feels like that too. While the staff are friendly and put on...

This hotel is located in Turkish district cca 8 minutes from Hauptbanhof. I slept in several small rooms for 1 person, usually the furniture was old, but usable. Also the TV was really old and it provided around 20 channels. Some rooms had a fridge, some not. The staff was kind everytime. Anyway it is a good value for money...

I booked this hotel at last minute - during the travel fair. The price was also not low - I paied 412 EUR for 5 days incl. breakfast. 1/ The location is great - close to main railway station - good connection with the other parts of the city. The breakfast was OK. 2/ My single room was very small...

There were 2 positives during my one night stay at this hotel, the first being that it is centrally located. When I checked in, I was pointed over the road to other rooms on the opposite side of the street, this annex certainly seems a lot shabbier than the rest of the hotel itself. I was located on the 3rd...

Excellent location in the heart of Essen, on the pedestrian street, few steps away from the main landmarks and shops and within 10 minutes walking distance from the main station. Free WiFi worked well. The hotel is still OK, but very "tired". My single room was very small with claustrophobic bathroom without ventilation. Pillow was also very old and terrible....
