The main benefit is that it is a short walk from the station. The hotel is functional and nothing special. a disappointing aspect is that is you want to eat in your room, you have to carry the tray up from the restaurant. room service will not help.

Conveniently located near the Essen main trainstation (not even 5' walk) Clean and quiet room despite the proximity of the tracks Breakfast was not included in the rate but is worth spending Shower has ample hot water

Intercity get it... I was a little dubious as it is often available when everywhere else is full which to be honest is why I stayed there this time. The check-in was seem-less and the staff welcoming. There is a lounge area and small bar adjoining the reception desk some tall bar tables and stools. For me it didn't have...

Considering that the hotel had no free parking, no breakfast included, flakey internet, no pool, rooms that weren't that great with no tea making facilities, and receptionists that looked to be on the permanent blob, it was grossly overpriced.

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. The hotel is clean but is basic and has very limited customer service. I ordered a taxi via reception one morning and then waited outside for it to arrive. 15 mins later it still hadn't arrived so I went back in to speak to the receptionist who was tasked with making the...

The rooms are very good with comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. Only downside for me was being put in a smokers room. And maybe the lack of tea/coffee making facilities. But overall a positive experience with s big benefit of the free public transport pass.

Wanted something close to station and decent value. Was not disappointed and what's more it was clean, quiet, pleasant staff (slow wifi but free!). Thoroughly recommend it if you want big brand quality and budget prices

This hotel was booked on my behalf for a business trip but was great. Located next to the railway station, supply a rail ticket FOC. Wifi supplied, good breakfast - did not use restaurant during evening. Very helpful staff. Room comfortable and clean. Happy to use again and will also check out the chain for other trips.

Typical business hotel in the city center. Convenient for shopping and going out for dinner. We stayed on a Friday night and the restaurant was closed. Not a problem as there are plenty of places to eat in the area. Room is a reasonable size, comfortable and clean. Bathroom with a good shower. Beds are a little hard for my...

Easy to find. the possibility private parking was wellcome. The hotel is surprisingly near the pedestrian zone. the room was quiet despite the location near the railway. Staff very helpfull and breakfast with possibility to order your eggs the way you want. You can get a free card for the public transport, really handy. Only critic: the internet not up...
